I’m from Texas, so I know good BBQ. Was so happy I chose to eat here while on vacation. Really good barbecue at a decent price! Support this local food truck business. You won’t be sorry! My family and I ordered the barbecue sandwiches, armadillo eggs, and barbecue nachos. Everyone loved what they ordered with no complaints. Best meal we had while in Ruskin. Highly recommend!

Food was amazing. I had the bacon cheddar brisket grilled cheese. It was awesome. The Mac and cheese was also great. Right amount of cheese on the sandwich and the pasta. You can taste the flavor of the meat coming through with the sweetness of that Hickory wood. A must try.

My wife and I have travelled most of America together and I’ve gone international a few times. The common theme is that we love bbq. This place was easily in the top three bbq places we’ve ever had. We tried all the sauces and there wasn’t one we didn’t like. The meats were cooked to perfection, the fries appear to be regular crinkle cut but taste better, and the Mac and cheese was the best I had had. Highly recommend!!!

My parents and I ordered from Smokeez BBQ at The Blue Heron in Bradenton. Kim and David are great people. I had the smoked sausage with the brisket of beef combined with the cole slaw and baked beans. Everything was delicious. My parents enjoyed their meals as much as I did. We will definitely want to place another order when Smokeez BBQ returns to The Blue Heron.

Fantastic place to eat! I love the BBQ bacon grilled cheese with brisket, BBQ fries, ribs, and much more, but I am addicted to the sausage with cheese. I go there at least 4 times a week. Excellent food! Highly recommend!

Great food! Saw it when passing by and couldn’t resist making a u-turn. Had the pulled pork and smoked sausage, both good. Cole slaw and Mac-n-cheese were also excellent! Bummed I don’t live in the area and won’t be able to bring my hubby here.

Tried it on a lark after smelling the smoker all week long. The sauce was average, but the pork was juicy and the brisket followed with a lot of the smoky flavor I expected. I can’t wait to try their ribs and chicken.
