Pretty decent BBQ. The brisket is the best I’ve had in the area (‘course, we’re not in BBQ country). The house BBQ sauce is very tasty. You can tell they didn’t just reheat some prepackaged frozen food (unlike so many of the places in North Vernon). The place is clean and doesn’t smell smokey. The service is friendly. I would like to see some smoked chicken or turkey on the menu. I don’t care for battered food, so no comment on that part of the menu.
