$23+$2 cash tip for 3 tsp of sides. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I opened my to go container when I got home. Beans were great, just wish I had more than a thin layer to cover the bottom of the plate. Mac n cheese was okay. Ribs were dry. Brisket had good flavor, but was full of fat. I’ve been calling for 2 weeks to order the holiday brisket, but no one ever answered the phone. After today’s visit, it had to be divine intervention.

I travel regularly in my job. I try to find a good barbecue restaurant in each city I travel to. This afternoon I tried Smoked. The brisket was some of the best I’ve ever had. It had little fat yet was moist but not greasy, and very tender. The flavor was very good and the smoky sweet sauce was really good too. I had the baked beans which were excellent, and the coleslaw which was ok but the dressing didn’t have much flavor. The service was good and the girl at the counter was friendly. If I’m in the area again I’ll definitely eat here. Check the hours, they close pretty early.

We’ve been looking for great BBQ in the area for a really long time, and what we found here was GREAT SMOKED BBQ FLAVOR with at least 6 different types of homemade bbq sauce that were all out of this world!!! I’m not kidding when I say that THIS PLACE is the best BBQ in the whole NOLA and metro areas, especially for the money which goes a long way here. Moe’s (on Causeway as of this review) comes really close, but for flavor and price SMOKED edges out over the competition imho without a doubt. The smoked flavor in their bbq ribs and chicken could easily be CONTEST COMPETITION BBQ!!! The sides didn’t disappoint either, especially the CHILI!!! Ya’ll I’m not lying…. Best chili I’ve ever had in my life. I wish I lived near here because I’d eat here at least once a week. OUTSTANDING FLAVOR! My family and I were in literal HOG HEAVEN! We wish we’d known of this place YEARS AGO!!
Also, the service was “sweet”. The current server is very kind and polite to talk to, fast, very attentive to customers and most of all patient.

I don’t know if i just came on a bad day or what but i got 2 plates and they were luke warm, the brisket was extremely dry!! like my teeth & jaw is literally hurting from chewing the brisket. I found this place on instagram and saw how tender and juicy the brisket appeared to be on there however, when i got it today not even 45 minutes ago i was disappointed.

This was my favorite bbq place but has really gone downhill. The brisket sandwich that I got today was more fat than anything. I can’t even wrap my head around the fact that they packed baked beans in the same container as the banana pudding in one of my two meat plates, and the other had green beans and banana pudding. They used to pack the sides in separate containers so you didn’t have to worry about them mixing together. The last 3 times I went, I had issues. I hope they do better for the next customer because they have lost my business. Do better Smoked!

I tried Smoked for the 1st time this last Monday, and I was not impressed at all. The meat was cold, the brisket was tender but cold, and the ribs were kind of dry and also cold. Honestly, both tasted like reheated meat. The only hot thing was the peach cobbler,it was delicious. I saw the good reviews and was excited about eating there,but honestly, nothing special about it. I wouldn’t go again.

Our first time and we will definitely be returning. We walked in and the young lady behind the register seemed a bit nervous, but she was cordial.
There was a young man there sitting at the bar eating.
He was helpful with some of the selections. Thank you for advising us on trying the peach cobbler. It was delicious.
We had the duke with a side order of Burnt Ends. Those Burnt Ends were the best we have had yet.
The Brisket melts in your mouth. The ribs were a little overcooked, but still tasty.
That Smoked Salmon is everything & with the Pineapple Bourbon, it’s even better.
The sides: Brussels and Green Beans were delicious. The Mac & Cheese was okay.
Tip: Make sure you serve hot food not warm.
The owner came out and spoke with us. He was really nice and professional.
The atmosphere was nice and cozy.
There’s a bar next door which you can access from the restaurant.
We will definitely go back soon.

Nice little bbq place in river ridge. Our job cater smoked on a safety meet. I really enjoyed the food. Great flavor. I recently went to smoked for lunch. I unfortunately wasn’t impressed. The tea tasted different? Wasn’t good. Tasted like they used raw brown sugar? The brisket sandwich was a junior or little bun. I know brisket is very expensive but would be nice on a big bun. The little bun did have plenty of meat and was very tasty. I do recommend this place for a lunch break or catering your function. The portions are average to small, but filling.

Get breakfast sandwiche. It is amazing! Well the lunch/dinner menu is amazing! The taste of the meat is so savory and satisfying. The rub is outstanding! It is worth the drive. You are paying for what you get and it’s a little expensive but so worth it. You taste the love they put into their products. SOO GOOD!
