Good BBQ especially for an area of the that’s typically not known for BBQ. Brisket is good but it doesn’t have that heavy bark I like being from Texas. Potato salad and beans are top notch. Pulled pork was tender and tasted good but needed more smoke. This is a solid BBQ restaurant even by Texas standards.

Perfect Smoked Turkey & Saved Our Last-Minute Thanksgiving

This was my first time ever ordering a pre-cooked turkey for Thanksgiving, and Smoke Craft Barbecue absolutely saved the day. This was a last-minute family Thanksgiving that was not planned well in advance, and being able to purchase everything I needed for dinner made our family Thanksgiving the best ever.
The smoked turkey was outstanding — perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor without being overly salty or smoky. Reheating it was simple, and it tasted like it had just come out of the smoker.
The sides were just as impressive. The mac & cheese was rich and creamy, the collard greens were flavorful and well-seasoned, and the gravy tied everything together perfectly. The Brussels with the glaze was a huge winner also!
What really made this special was how easy they made the whole experience. I picked up the turkey and sides, had the time to actually enjoy being with my family instead of being stuck in the kitchen all day, and still served a dinner everyone raved about.
I will absolutely order from Smoke Craft Barbecue again for any holiday or special occasion.

I really wanted to like the food here, but the BBQ is mediocre at best… brisket was fine, but nothing special. Ribs were super tough and flavorless. Jalapeño sausage was pretty good. Also tried the pulled pork benedict… very disappointing. Enjoyed trying all their BBQ sauces, but wasn’t enough to save the meal. Left with sticky fingers, no wet naps or sink station.

Atmosphere and presentation were great. They have a nice tap list and bar menu. To me, this feels more like a nice happy hour spot, I wouldn’t come here for food again.

The food was absolutely delicious from the brisket to the macaroni and cheese 10 out of 10 I highly recommend. Our server Clem was perfect all the way through. Drinks were so creative and tasty! So smooth!

Everything I have ever tried has been delicious. They also do a great job packaging for delivery. We ordered burgers from Smokehouse the other night and they arrived in perfect order, which is no small task. The burgers were perfectly cooked to medium rare and the flavors are unbeatable.

Incredible find!! We will come back to the area just to revisit this awesome BBQ restaurant. We arrived at what must have been a rare, quiet time on a Monday night and reaped the benefit of having the manager, Angel’s full attention. The personal touch and great advice ensured that we had a truly memorable evening. The cocktails were creative and perfectly complimented our choice of meals. Highly recommend you try Smoke on the water!

We decided to try the huge sampler of BBQ meats and it was EVERYTHING you might wish. Tender, tasty, moist and the “smoke” was tasteful, appropriate to each meat and not overdone. Ribs, chicken, turkey, brisket pulled pork and my personal favorite, the incredible, tender porkbelly. We choose comfort sides that did not disappoint; like whipped smoked sweet potato topped with perfectly toasted marshmallow to enhance the hints of smoke, perfectly seasoned and tender collard greens made a believer out of me. EXCELLENT mac and cheese and crisp light fries rounded out our feast and nobody left unsatisfied!

If you are looking for a great, casual foodie experience with friends or family you can not go wrong here!

Since the company has a tendency to “zing reviewers” I would like to preface this with… “I was only trying to help.”

The hype online led us to make an hour commute to this well Instagramed spot. Made reservations and parked in the lot nextdoor. Alleviated a lot of the stress.

Upon arrival we were immediately sat and quickly greeted. Our server was on top of things and brought table side ordering.

Having to use QR codes to see the menu was stymied by cell signal. If you are going to require customers to “bring up the menu on their phone…” You need to provide on boarding to your network to make sure we can get the menu. As a Verizon user I had to move closer to the window after scanning the QR. (Provide another QR to get on the wifi.)

After scanning the menu… We decided on the pork nachos for a starter. Due to my dietary constraints, we asked for the cream and avocado on the side. Our server made sure it was delivered correctly.

1st choice: Great I was a little concerned when I saw no sauce on it. But the pork is excellent. The cheese and salsa is almost perfect. Gobbled up quickly and enjoyed by the whole table.

The main course… Well nothing looked good to me. The word dry rub made me think of BBQs that served shoe leather. I am happy to report, I was way off on this. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich expecting a dry sandwich that I would have to add sauce too.

My sandwich was sauced and had onions in it. I didn’t like it. But didn’t hate it. I however couldn’t stand the fries that came with it. They were old and cold and clearly cooked in old oil. So I just pushed them aside. The sandwich needed something… Not sure what… But I just discarded the bread and ate the meat.

As I looked up I realized everyone else at the table just “passed” on their food. Ryan didn’t like his combo. Lee didn’t eat her sandwich. Both stating… “Too full.”

Ok. Let’s get the check and go.

The toast table side device was left with us. Which kind of felt like self check out at the grocery.

Moving on.

We took 2 plates worth to go. The server provided Togo containers that could also hold their sauces.

On the car ride home the debate started. “Who thinks Mission is better?”

I countered with “Mission doesn’t have nachos.”
Ryan fired back with “those fries were disgusting.”

So over all…

Would I come here on purpose again? No.
If I was in the area would I come back. Probably not without looking around.
Would I tell someone else “I am not eating there”? Not at all.

The overall score is “fine” which is the definition of a 3/5.

So give it a shot… Maybe I got an off night. But.. and this is a big one… Of the 2 people who claimed to be too full. They both ate what was in the fridge, as soon as they got home.

Let me start by saying. Have you ever had your food placed in front of you and you knew “this plate doesnt stand a chance”? Thats how delicious this food looked and tasted. From the moment I entered it was the real feel of authentic bbq. I had the brisket prime and let me tell you just like you’d only eat crabcakes from baltimore and bbq from Texas I felt this was texas worthy. I wish I remembered our servers name but he made it a joy to be here. I sent photos to my friends and they’re mad I didn’t bring them. Every piece of food was delicious and not too many spots can say that. And the table bread was biscuits with a honey peach butter to side with it. My only question is can we build more of these because I loved it.
