I don’t know how it’s possible to get so many positive 5 star reviews in this day and age so I was skeptical going in. We lived in the mountains before moving here and had no shortage of good BBQ so I was double skeptical. But oh my god this place is so insanely good. Everything we had from the wings to the brisket to the sides were beyond good. The owners were awesome. The view and vibe next to the marina was perfect. And the food was just so good. Not traditional bbq like you might find in the south although it’s in the ballpark with their brisket and Mac & cheese, but it’s their more “fusion-y” items that crush it. The Thai wings. The chili lime fish. The jerk chicken. BBQ but done island style. After living here for 6 months, this is now firmly in the top 1-2 of our favorite restaurants. They do a happy hour daily from 5-6 with $1 wings and $2 tacos and they said live music on Friday and Saturday nights. So we’ll definitely be back many, many times.

So delicious the flavor of the meat is unbelievable. It is all perfectly cooked falling off the bone and tender and juicy.
Spice and sauced to perfection.
The coconut rice is beautifully, sweet and pairs so well with the Chinese style ribs
Obviously, the mac & cheese was a total knockout and went so good with the brisket.
I would definitely be back totally worth the price with beautiful outdoor seating that overlooks the marina in Crown Bay and wonderful, friendly, accommodating staff

This is a hidden gem in St Thomas! Tucked away in a corner next to one of the main marinas, it is worth the 4 minute walk. We had the jerk chicken, chili lime fish, and fish taco salad along with the coconut rice, apple slaw, Mac n cheese, and street corn. Everything we ate was 1000000% heaven. Our cashier/server was a friendly man who has great taste in music (although I can’t remember his name). The hot sauce was spicy and full of flavor. For me, the chili lime fish and coconut rice were the stars of the show, but all of it was delicious. The flavors were spot on and the meats were tender, perfectly cooked. I cannot recommend this place enough and I’m sad we are on a cruise and are only able to try it once. We will be back again when we visit for sure.

Screw the cruise ship & excursion food, this is where you need to prioritize, especially if you are wanting to stay in port on foot. This man loaded us up with at least 2lbs of brisket on a platter, which wasn’t even a special today! Most BBQ places don’t put much effort into the sides, but here they are as much front-runners as the main items. Lemonade and limeades also excellent. Every ingredient fresh. Thank you for taking the BBQ craft seriously!

Walked by a cute but not spectacular looking little restaurant / food truck at the marina. After spending the day at Water Island, we decided to have my birthday dinner there. We had the brisket and the Chinese ribs along with many sides. The service, the atmosphere, and the food was phenomenal. The bartender also knows how to mix up some special drinks. The passionfruit lemonade was refreshing and delicious. I think I could eat here every day.

Eustace is a master of his craft. I’ve been to all the best bbq places in Memphis, Texas, KC, etc. and this is up there with the top chefs. Ribs were fall off the bone and had delicious flavor, smoked mac n cheese was phenomenal, coconut rice was delicious. The curried potato salad was a unique addition as well and tasted great. Be sure to try the Cinnamon toast crunch shots and the passion fruit margarita as well.

We went there yesterday, and we haven’t stopped talking about the food. The jerk chicken is crazy good. The spices infused with the smoke made this by far the best bite on our trip. It’s obvious they know what they are doing with the smokers. My son devoured his chicken wings. The sides was also delicious. Some vibey music mixed with some potent cocktails made this an unforgettable meal. We can’t wait to hit it when we return next year. Continued success for many many years. Cheers!

So, the fact that this is technically a food truck with picnic tables might give one pause about a 5 star review on “atmosphere”, but this is the Caribbean Islands. It was perfect. Nice breeze, smooth island music wafting through the yard, and the smell of fantastic BBQ rising over the hut. And right next to the water (harbor water, but still water!)

The service was incredibly friendly. They were a little backed up, but very aware and sympathetic… Just a testament to how good the food is.
I had Chili Lime Mahi… I have never had fish so perfectly cooked and seasoned. There was a tang that just kept giving every time you went back for more. Just the right burn.
I had the smoked mac & cheese… So creamy, perfectly al dente, and an incredible subtle flavor.
And I finished it off with an order of green apple slaw… Fresh, crisp, creamy, and the apple provided a perfect twang and sweetness…
If I could bottle this and bring it to Utah, it would be a huge hit. But the island allure is impossible to get anywhere else.
5 stars may be too few… It’s a perfect authentic local experience for vacation! Highly, highly recommend.
