Picked up brisket, pork ribs, pork shoulder, and loaded tots today, and all were even better than I remembered. Easily the best smoked brisket in the Twin Cities.
All that said, it’s take out only, a food truck that parks adjacent to an abandoned lot in a rough part of town, very limited and inconsistent hours, and you have to go at brunch time (11am sharp) if you want to have access to the full menu. I desperately with they would open at 4pm so that I could get it for dinner and not have to reheat.
But it’s worth it. Amazing food and service always.

Of the handful of times I have come here, the brisket is always dry, no smokiness, and no flavor. Brisket comparable to jerky. Maybe I am very unlucky but I have gave up trying their brisket. The pork ribs and pork belly are great, not much flavor going on either but very juicy and tender. Pairs nicely with their sticky rice. Prices are great, it is cheap bbq.

It’s hard to review the atmosphere of the location being it is a food truck and it’s out in the open. The pepper sauce which is .50 extra, for me wasn’t worth it. Granted it’s only .50 but for me it didn’t help the food nor did it “jump” out at me as if something I really needed. The sauce is on the spicier side. The sauce if I could describe it is similar to what you’d get at Hmong Village; Thai peppers chopped up with fish sauce a hint of lime mixed with water. I ordered my brisket and 1lb of beef “short” ribs as is. No sticky rice or anything. They both are well seasoned and little on the saltier side but it’s good. The meat fell off the bone and the brisket was good as well. I’d go again. The ribs I will say is worth it. Got a good amount of meat and the seasoning on it is really good when bite into.

The brisket wasn’t dry, very tender, most and flavorful. Same goes to the ribs, the ribs fell off the bone and was very tender as well. Definitely some of the best if not the best brisket and ribs in Saint Paul/Minneapolis.

Get there early or face the disappointing fact that they sold out for the day! They have one of the top briskets in the state! Some of the best egg rolls, when available. And some pretty amazing ribs, Mac and Cheese and loaded brisket fries are always delicious!
Don’t miss out on Smoke Session!

Long wait but great food… if you haven’t been here before, they are a food truck place, so that means no seatings, parking can be messy since there are really no lines to indicate parking spot. Would totally recommend getting their beef brisket and pork ribs… fall off bone goodness!!! Our first time here… won’t be our last!

The food was all delicious and the made to perfection. The people running the food truck were super friendly…the only downside is the wait but, that was only because they were super busy. It was all well worth the wait.
