Since the Buffet closed this’s was our next choice. Portions are very large. Food was tasty and hot. You definitely get your money’s worth and will not leave hungry. Shame the Smoke & Rye is closing in December. Sigh…..As always Reese was a great server transitioning from the buffet. She is a hidden gem!!

Enjoyed a Sam Adams along with a Build Your Own Burger (BYOB) and steak fries. Must say…exceptional burger, perfectly cooked, and the brioche bun had great flavor. Especially liked I could get fries without the salt or seasoning. Christine who was tending the bar did a great job taking care of me and made sure I had everything I needed. The ONLY (minor) complaint…a beer and burger for $20 is a bit pricey.

First time visiting Horseshoe Casino. Celebrating an anniversary with my wife. Had a blast in the casino, and stopped by S&R for dinner on the way back to the hotel. The food was excellent! I had a BYOB with steak fries, add bacon to the burger. Simply one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. My wife had pulled chicken and the parmesan Mac and cheese, and loved it! The waitress was extremely polite and served us with a huge smile. Definitely will be eating there again! It’s only the first of 3 days, but so far it’s shaping up to be an excellent getaway!

Not a good experience for a Mother’s day. We should have stayed home. First the fountain drinks tasted bad, and then the boys could not have the buffet. So they ordered off the menu. The pasta was watery with no taste, and the chicken in it was watery as well. The burger with pork was not good either. So both our teenage boys left hungry. The pasta meal was taken off, but our bill was still over $70. If they charge higher prices the waiters, and waitresses should at least be dressed nice. Lesson learned.

I like this restaurant but something always happens that is just odd. I was there with my best friend and my sister to celebrate my birthday. We all had a glass of wine and ordered an entree. We all also ordered a glass of water. Well, when they brought the water, it was in a paper cup. I just don’t understand.

Not impressed for a place that overcharges on practically every item on the menu. We went there with a small group and unfortunately for the waitress she was double sat 2 small groups. For that I was somewhat understanding on the time constraints except for the fact that we had arrived first and yet the other family was sat before us. We were there almost an hour and a half total in which most of the time it was waiting for drinks, food, and the receipt. At one point one of our group just went to the bar to get her own drink since the waitress was taking so long. The food was substandard for the price. My wife ordered the brisket, unfortunately it came out looking like a “briskant”. It looked dry, sad, and appeared to have a shade of green. It resembled beef jerky more than brisket. The both of us being from Texas we were highly disappointed. Needless to say our group of ten all agreed the food sucked and that we would eat elsewhere before coming to gambling.
