One of the most underrated BBQ joints in NWA and it out beats Wrights BBQ and Penguin Ed’s any day. Every single smoked meat I’ve had gives off a high amount of love and attention that gives off a nice Arkansas BBQ Smokey flavor that most BBQ spots in the area lack. You can just taste the smoked wood in the meat along with the juicy tenderness from the meat that makes you feel like you’re eating a warm home cooked meal that Grandma has put her love into. Smoke N’ Willie’s gives you a feeling of warmth and comfort while also receiving a nice message on their take out boxes that are hand written. The price is well worth it given the BBQ is always High Quality! The owner’s are always kind as well and are always in a great mood that just give off a family atmosphere. This is more than food truck, this is a place that puts love into their food craft that represent what Arkansas BBQ can be Thank You as Always Smoke N’ Willie!

Definitely the best barbecue in Northwest Arkansas. Me and my husband enjoyed the food we got from here. It was all very fresh and great portion sizing with fair pricing. This is the best Barbecue spot in NWA.
All the meat is cooked the day of, and if they run out, you’ll have to wait until tomorrow.
This is closer to Texas style barbecue, but the Pit Master uses a neutral wood and simple seasonings, relying more on the process and a good cut of meat.
The meat wasn’t too smoky, had a great bark, and the seasonings brought out the flavor of the meat, rather than having a super salty bark.
The shop is a trailer, but there are multiple smokers right beside it, and there’s a multiple family sized gazebo that’s protected from the wind and I had a pleasant lunch, outside in February.
The staff also came out to make sure was tasting delicious.
The price is on par or slightly less than other barbecue in the area, but the meat is unmatched.
A 3 rib plate with 2 sides and a drink runs about $18, but they make a point to ask for first responder/veteran discount, so the cost was $15.
I ordered “3 rib plate” and was given a VERY generous portion.
If ANYONE asks “Why doesn’t Arkansas have good barbecue?”

I really love local food places like this. This was our first time here and we were not disappointed.
They write messages on the lids of the food. It’s really cool, it shows a bit of personality that they impart on their customers that I’m not used to. I really like it.
The food is so good, all of it. The service is impeccable. The owner came out and talked with us for a bit, he was making sure we were satisfied. And we definitely were.
The brisket is amazing, the messy bun (pulled pork and mac and cheese sandwich) was incredible.
We also had the Squatchy sandwich, which is a HUGE sandwich, pizza grilled cheese with jalapenos. It was so fire.
We will definitely be back to have more. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Love the place. Get the japañeo buns. They make the bbq sandwiches a 10. They potatoes salad is great. The Mac is really good. Also the owners make it amazing. They make you feel welcomed. They are also funny. Will be good there next time I am passing bye.

I flew into the Fayetteville airport and was looking for lunch. Smoke ‘N’ Willie was the a short walk. As someone who has spent over 40 years in Texas I was anxious to try the local BBQ. I had the sliced brisket sandwich, potato salad, and beans. It was every bit as good as what I was accustomed to. I was especially impressed how the staff checked on me 3 or 4 times to make sure I didn’t need something. The only disappointment was what appeared to be canned beans instead of freshly cooked pinto beans.

These folks are BBQ GODS!! My boss at Trash A Way treated me to the best BBQ here. Service was so friendly, loved the seating area, but the show stopper was the 3 bone plate I ordered. Smoked to perfection, flavorful and oh so tender. The sweet and spicy sauce was literal “awesome sauce”. And don’t get me started on the amazing Mac & Cheese. There is plenty on the menu to choose from and I intend to try it all. All hail the BBQ GODS!

Found this place while driving home… some of the best BBQ I’ve had out here. Wasn’t sure what I wanted so I tried the hitchhikers. A combo of a frito pie, with BBQ beans, mac & cheese and pulled pork! What a stand out!!! Plus, they write personalized inspirational messages on the lids!!! The woman running it was so sweet & kind, we’ll definitely be back!!! The pictures do not do the taste justice, sorry.

Our brisket was very lean and smoky flavored. The beans were perfect with a good amount of quality pulled pork. We enjoyed eating in the covered area with lights in the evening. Nice people
