Cash only business. I’ve driven by this place several times and you can always see all the smoke they’re using to cook. I finally got a chance to check it out today and was not disappointed! I took 2 of the pork shoulder shoboat sandwiches home and my husband and I both agreed the food was excellent. The pork was juicy and flavorful and the fries were cooked perfectly. The bbq sauce was delicious. What I liked most was the welcoming, familiar atmosphere. While I waited for my order a few people stopped in just to say hi to the workers. I will be stopping by again soon! Thank you for the great food and service!

If you aren’t looking for it you wouldn’t find it. And I’m glad I did. The gentleman at the register was very polite and welcoming. The food arrive within 5 to 10 minutes and everything was hot. The pics I took doesn’t do justice to this food. The ribs were amazing, I ordered the sauce on the side and it was great as well. My husband had the grill chicken and is was very good. The yams, Mac and cheese and baked beans taste home made. And we finished this great meal with a caramel cake.

We love two hours from this place. A definite destination place when out on a nice bike ride. Today was no different. The owners/ family treat everyone like long-lost friends. Even the customers greet other customers with love and smiles. The food is so DELICIOUSLY GOOD! If you have a chance, you must stop by. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a quaint family owned restaurant that has been in business for about 20 years. The owners are very personable & friendly. They made us feel like a friend, not a customer. We had their specialty- the Sho Boat sandwich & fries. The food was exceptionally good & the portions were just right. We felt that the price was very reasonable. We will definitely return!

Stopped for a quick bite in drive home from Galena-family run headed by grandson at register…suggested the BBQ Sho-boat with a pork Sammie and fries and a side of Mac. Excellent and reasonably priced-worth a trip back.

Nice Little restaurant on the side of a gas station. Great atmosphere and great women. Food was cooked great. Their Showboat is their specialty and by golly its actually good. Hard to write this review without taking another bite. If you pull into the gas station it’s on the end of the gas station. Definitely give it a go.
