The food came out very fast! I got the Farm fresh salad and it was so delicious, the tomato vinaigrette perfectly complimented the sweet tomatoes and corn, and the cornbread croutons, while not exactly crunchy, were the perfect touch.
The brisket was moist and tender and so delicious, but it did lack a bit of flavor so I recommend using the house barbecue sauce at the table.
If you’re searching for a bite to eat in Newport, I would highly recommend stopping by smokehouse!
They also had great non-alcoholic drink options, which I really appreciated. The servers were super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. This place is a must-try if you’re in the area — we’ll definitely be back!
This was the only night we didn’t have reservations and we ended up here. I’m glad we did! I’m so over seafood
Atmosphere, staff and seating (we sat outside was Devine. When we were walking out some idiot thought it would be a great idea to smoke right outside the dining area.
Their pineapple vodka was great but had hard bite to it as if it was cheap vodka, not smooth like Goose Pear / Orange.
I have never had a hog wing before and it was juicy and delicious!
Their corn bread fell apart it your hands and felt more like cake to me but good.
My wife enjoyed her shrimp cocktail!
We got their platter which consisted of
2 Hog Wings
4 Chicken Wings
1/2 Rack of Ribs
Came with 2 sides we got Mac and Cheese and of course French Fries.
Plan was after the platter we would order what we like but we were full!
2 hot wings were out of the world! Nothing I have ever experienced and when we go back home we will look for local butchers who supply that cut of meat
Chicken wings were crispy!
Ribs fell off the bone.
Their home made BBQ sauce has a little kick to it!
We will be back!
Not important but our cheapest meal here at Newport! The only place we have been that we spent less than $100 for the two of us
WE ARE BACK
8/16/25
Our second time and zero regrets!
Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and I felt terrible leaving so much on the table as there was NO ROOM!
Those nachos can feed a table of 4 AND IF YOU ADD A PROTEIN TO IT, it’s a meal in itself!
We saw another table with the nachos with a protein on it and they were eating a salad. Smart!
Us…not so much
We got their nachos as an app with no protein and it came with a guacamole induced sour cream which was Devine!
Of course we got their trio of ribs, chicken and brisket
We also got their lobster roll which was made to perfection which is a feat in itself
Sides were mac and cheese and cornbread which is always full of flavor!
Te views are also very nice and is close to the water.
First of all – the back of the house was generous on the side dishes I ordered. A plate of solid baked beans with mote and a good pile of french fries.
Now, let’s talk about quality. French fries were cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside, mushy on the inside. Pretty much what you would expect from them. The formidable platter of baked beans was tender, salty-sour-sweet just hitting the spot and pleasantly smoky.
The main hero of the poem is Smoked Stack Burger. I ordered it with a slice of bacon and crumbled blue cheese. Actually, chef – it was my mistake adding blues to it! Sorry you had to do that. I love blue cheese but believe me when I say you don’t want it in that burger – pulled pork, beef and smoked Gouda are too delicate of a taste to be overpowered by the blues. So take it as it meant to be on the menu – you won’t regret it.
Now let me pass out from all the calories I indulged in!
