We’re a little place with big taste, and our restaurant’s brimming with character. We use wood smokers and charcoal barbecues for all our dishes. Having recently discovered Smoke BBQ Kitchen – prompted by the closure of our usual local haunts, we were thoroughly impressed! Our first visit on October 24th certainly didn’t disappoint.
The menu offers an excellent and diverse selection, and the service was equally notable. The staff were attentive and genuinely helpful, ensuring our food arrived quickly and efficiently. The culinary highlight was undeniably the Braai Tray… absolutely delicious.
The complimentary birthday shot was an appreciated, thoughtful gesture that rounded off the evening perfectly. Five stars for both the outstanding food and exemplary dining experience.

Smoke BBQ Kitchen is one of the best restaurants around Bishop Stortford. Zehair, our server, is super welcoming and makes an effort to ensure you have a great meal! You must try the Pork ribs, Pulled Pork, and Brisket! The onion rings are perfect! We will always choose this place when it comes to BBQ!

What a great place to visit for a good meal. Owner is a great guy with a good honest sense of humor. Food is plenty and delicious. Space is not big so I’ll advise you to make a reservation. Service was great they keep an eye on you and seem to know when you need something. Funny hall of fame who can eat a big dinner in 30 minutes, but a normal plate is a lot so be aware. Toilets good be a bit better.. all in all recommended

The food was decent overall. One suggestion would be to explain the menu when guests are first seated, rather than later when they are ready to order. The person I believe to be the owner was very knowledgeable about the dishes and it might be helpful for the waitress to receive similar training so she can share this information right away.

Absolutely brilliant BBQ place some seriously good homemade biltong and sauces along with the nicest meats and burgers you’ll eat! Completely tops any other smokehouse we’ve been to. Highly recommend this place! Service was spot on and absolutely zero complaints. Thank you so much!

The food was pretty decent in terms of taste and there was a good selection on the menu. The staff were very friendly, but the atmosphere was a bit uninspiring. All the surfaces from the table to the bathrooms were a bit sticky.

Went to celebrate a birthday and was delighted to see warm friendly service from a waiter called Zuhair.
Ordered the Tacos from the specials board as a starter and the alabama chicken with brisket for the main. A very decent portion that left me feeling extremely satisfied and full.
The Belgian brewer draft was crisp, cold and served perfectly by our waiter and he accommodated for our every need in a humorous yet efficient manner.
Overall, a great destination for any occasion although not great for parking!

The food here is excellent in quantity & quality – cannot fault it! A refreshing & delicious change from the usual ‘American style’ smoke house. Special thanks to our waiter, Zuhair – he was warm, welcoming & hilarious! Always great atmosphere & good tunes! Kitchen very accommodating to my brother’s additional needs, including allergies. Will always recommend these guys!!
