My wife and I were rambling about as we are prone to doing on any given weekend and found ourselves in Bay Saint Louis. Upon arrival, we decided that it was time for some lunch and after walking around for a while, decided on Smoke BBQ. We ordered at the counter and sat outside patiently waiting for our meals to arrive. The meals arrived in a timely fashion and everything was delicious. The Brisket on the Brisket Sandwich had a nice smoky flavor, the Collards were well seasoned, the Okra was crunchy and flavorful, the Hot Chicken Sandwich wasn’t super Spicy but was delicious and the Mac and Cheese was delicious. Overall, Smoke BBQ was an excellent experience that I do not hesitate to recommend. Special mention of the Pimento Cheese appetizer. I
must say this is the first time I can say I’ve ever enjoyed eating Pimento Cheese, it was delicious. Also, special shout out to the staff. They were helpful without overdoing it.

One of the best BBQ places I’ve ever visited. Turkey was excellent. My husband said the ribs were superb. (And he’s a retired chef.) And for sure, the best mustard greens I’ve ever eaten, thanks to Xavier, who was running the joint when we were there with his warmth and friendliness. Just a suggestion to the owners – we loved dining outside but if the weather had been inhospitable, it would have been a bummer to eat inside. Needs to be decorated with some interesting, unique items such as local photography, for a warmer
and more interesting ambience.

Great addition to Old Town BSL restaurants. I got the pulled pork plate; the BBQ was as good as I have had on the Coast, and the sides and lemonade were also well prepared. According to the Internet and their own website, Smoke is not open yet, but look for them between Hinge and the Thorny Oyster at the new Pearl Hotel. Not open on Mondays or in the evening.
