Smitty’s Garage in Fayetteville is one of our top sports bar locations! We love the option to sit on their covered patio, at a high top in the bar area or at a seat at the bar. No matter the seated location, large screen TVs surround the area for sports viewing. The food quality is great. The drink selection is vast. The service staff are personable, constantly ask if you need anything, and call you by name if you visit often enough. The location is close to our house and far enough away from UARK it’s frequented by but not always packed with just our college students…whom we do appreciate. WPS!

My wife and I came to Fayetteville for the weekend and chose Smitty’s Garage Burgers and Beer due to positive reviews and its location relative to our hotel. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff was friendly. Our food came out in probably less than ten minutes. My wife and I both agreed it was the best burger we’ve had in years, and maybe our lives. My wife got the Mushroom Swiss burger, and I had the Double Bacon Cheeseburger. Both were incredible. I also had the queso fries, which were awesome. My wife got the sweet potato fries, which I agreed were great, and I don’t typically like them.
We felt the price was reasonable for the quality of the food. We both got a meal, sides, and soft drinks for under 50 dollars.

We wish we had one of these back home. Best burgers with so many options to choose from. Fun atmosphere. Great place to hang out with family or friends. I took away one star because we had left an open tab but our waitress never came back to check on us and we had to go to the bar ourselves. Overall, I highly recommend!

Came here for the first time because I heard great things but this place is definitely over rated. Super cool concept and great customer service. I ordered the burger with blue cheese and the truffle fries. The food is at best average. The burger was a tad bit too salty, and the condiment to meat ratio was not to my liking. I think I need to come back and just try a plain cheeseburger without any condiments to get a better idea. I went for the truffle fries and it’s literally just Parmesan cheese on top of it. Nothing special at all.

i thoroughly recommend this place. my dad is obsessed with their burgers. the fries are kind of an acquired taste (i still like them some), but i love their avocado melt. they have the vegetarian option to add plant meat, so i added an impossible patty to it, and it impressed. there’s two vegan meat options, and i believe you can put them on any burger you want. they have a few sweet treats at the front counter. i was so touched the other night i came in to get my dad and i food, my blood sugar had tanked and i didn’t realize how bad until i stood up. i asked them if i could get something small and sugary and explained what was going on, and they showed me what they had. i told them i was going to go back and get my wallet, and they insisted i didn’t have to and that they just wanted me to be okay. several of them asked if i wanted a water at different intervals. it made me feel so happy that people cared that much about my safety. i’ve had nothing but great interactions with the staff. the place has a great vibe, though will get loud sometimes. basically a sports bar atmosphere but not insane all the time.

TL;DR
Awesome staff, fun atmosphere, average food. Might return.
The following is soley my opinion; take the taste descriptions into account because you may like something I described even if I did not. We decided to stop here and eat on the way to the mall. I ordered the mushroom Swiss with grilled chicken, no lettuce or onion, BF got a fried egg burger as is. We ordered the queso fries off the appetizer menu. I’m specifying that, because when you order an appetizer, you have certain expectations- that it’s shareable, mainly. It was shareable because we were both scared to eat too much of a food we knew would affect our tummies, but a regular person without digestive issues would have seen it as a single person’s side, so $10 for about a medium McDonald’s fry with queso, a piece of crumbled bacon, and jalapeño slivers was absolutely wild, and we would not get it again. It was literally more expensive than most of the burgers. That being said, we paid reasonable prices for the sandwiches. Mine arrived with onion on it, and they offered to remake it, but it was really no big deal, I took it off myself like a big girl. The point is they were kind enough to offer; everyone makes mistakes and they were very nice about it. The bartender was also cool, and yes students, they ID. My disappointment was the trick on the menu- the mushroom Swiss is the only item involving mushrooms, so red flag there- it also said sautéed in the description, but they were canned. You can technically sautée canned mushrooms, but it misled me by atmosphere and description into thinking I was getting fresh mushrooms. Maybe just remove the option if they aren’t using enough mushrooms to buy fresh or frozen, or utilizing them more to justify purchase. Canned mushrooms are for post-apocalyptic earth in the winter. My BF’s burger was a thicc juicy boi, and my chicken was also juicy and tender. Top bun was a bit soggy on mine, but I usually remove half the bread on my sandwiches anyway because of my preferred ratio of meat:bread. The grilled jalapeño slivers on the fries were properly spicy*, the flavor in the queso was good, the bacon and fries were nice and crispy. The price and portion were just completely disconnected.
*I have an exceptionally high tolerance for spicy foods, so like I say in all my reviews, please take that into account along with how wildly peppers can vary even within the same batch. Do not blame me if I say mild and you end up needing a gallon of milk; I literally cannot tell below a certain level of spice if it is there.

If you’re looking for a pretty damn good burger and fries for a good price, this is the place! It’s a fun spot for the family and they serve delicious burgers with different protein options. Check them out. You won’t be disappointed!

First visit & I’m sick. Ordered curbside they NEVER came out. Go in and they claim they will remake the food but they didn’t. Truffle fries all cold and hard/greasy old nothing on them. Chili burger not much chili, cheese not really but had lots of bread. Greasy sweet potato fries in a paper bag & a hot tea because I guess they had no ice.
I should have read the reviews before even ordering here because all seem true. Cold greasy fries and small half ass portions that look old. Save your money keep driving anywhere but here.

It is a 1 of a kind experience… the decorations are very interesting. I enjoyed walking about and just looking. The bathrooms have special decorations! The burgers are big and beautiful! The fries are not hard crunchy or soggy. The place stays packed!

Food has always been good when we stop by here. One of my favorite places to grab a burger and fries in NWA. I’ve ate at this location and the one in Rogers and they’re both on par with one another. Any time we’re in NWA with one of our car groups this is a staple stop of ours. The theming of the restaurant is nice and the vibes here are always pretty chill. Honestly wish we had a Smitty’s in Fort Smith too.
