Had the brisket plate. It was melt in your mouth tender! Okra was fried perfectly, not too hard, just browned. Potato salad tasted just like my mother makes. WONDERFUL FOOD! Service was a little lax, had to ask for more tea. Other than that, 5 stars. Will definitely be back to try the other foods! Especially the que and stew. Really enjoyed my meal there!

We entered on Saturday at 6 pm and found the place packed….which meant some food items were sold out, long waits for service, and then for food to arrive. Still, I ate the most tender brisket sandwich I’ve ever had. The stew was tasty as well. However, their baked bean were overly sweet and should be part of the dessert menu.

Best little place to grab a quick really good meal . Love the hamburger steak with grilled onions, peppers, & mushrooms with a loaded baked potato and side salad with 1000 Island . The side salad is the best I’ve found for take out.

Ok place, really nice staff, had pulled pork plate with fries and baked beans. Pork had no flavor, like it was baked in an oven with no seasoning at all, fries were cheap brand. All ends and short. Baked beans was the best thing I ordered but nowhere near good enough for me to order again. Don’t plan on a return visit.

Had a brisket sandwich and fries. The food was pretty good but the barbeque sauce is very thin and watery. I like a good sauce! Otherwise no complaints.

Staff was super friendly, and service was really fast even with them being as busy as they were during lunch rush. The brisket Philly cheese steak sandwich was awesome.

The service is probably the worst I’ve ever experienced. We sat ourselves, table was dirty wish dishes from the previous diners. The dishes got picked up after about 15 minutes but nobody ever wiped a table the whole time I was there. Took 20 minutes to get drinks and order, another 20 to get food, which was partly wrong. The food was mediocre at best, I didn’t like my half chicken, had a terrible texture, slimy almost. Not coming back anytime soon. To add insult to injury, they ask you out loud if you want to leave a tip instead of letting you write it on the check. I hate giving reviews like this, but in this instance, it was earned.

Fantastic ribs and brisket baked potato. We have not purchased anything we didn’t LOVE! Great service, very friendly and reasonably priced! Beware… it gets packed in the evenings. Call it in, pick it up and enjoy!
