BBQ as it should be. Flavorful, moist and finger licking good. Brought the family here on our way back from Abilene and it did not disappoint. My wife was more than happy with the ribs too! The owner (I believe) was super friendly and had great recommendations.

Don’t pass up on TJ’s BBQ food truck. He was so pleasant on our pass thru Vernon and the food beat any smoked meat from Dallas and at a reasonable price! I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich and the corn casserole! The sausage was tasty as well.

We were passing through from Atlanta to Amarillo and so glad we stopped. The pulled pork was amazing and the sides were really great too. It’s a food truck with a picnic table, which we weren’t expecting, but it was fine. Owner was kind and friendly. Totally worth the stop!

Oohh myyy…I hail from Texas BBQ Masters and Smitty’s BBQ(Vernon Tx) DID NOT DISAPPOINT ! It is definitely Classic Texas SMOKED BBQ In a rare and delicious form! He does BBQ Justicecwith a rich smokey flavor…appropriately cooked brisket…..get the veggies and sauce for they crowned my sandwiches with a FLAVOR Boost! Did not try the sides….the smoked sausage seems locally made and definitely grabs old world smoked meats and says “WE ARE FAMILY” Highly recommend!

This is the best barbecue I have had in Vernon Texas! I got three of the three meat plates with corn and mac&cheese sides. The brisket and the pulled pork was cooked perfectly, the sauce has a very nice flavor and good spice level. If you live in Vernon or passing through this is worth the stop☺️

We both really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich. Really nice and smoky! Potato salad was great. And Smitty was very friendly. When my husband asked how he got the meat so smoky he offered to show him the smoker. Definitely worth a stop!!
