They called it a beignet but it was the best doughnut I’ve ever had in my life. Soft, moist, fluffy and sweet. Powdered sugar was everywhere but we didn’t mind. Peanut butter cup doughnut wasn’t eaten till the next day after spending the night in the trunk and was still amazing !! Lemon cheesecake was rich and smooth, the way cheesecake should be. Can’t wait to go back.

Cute bakery and restaurant in an adorable historic village. Prices and portions were good. Service was friendly. Food was okay.
Because it’s a bakery we had higher expectations for the baked goods. My French toast tasted like store bought bread. The breakfast sandwich was tasty but the bagel was just ok.

The past food was very good, absolutely no complaints. The atmosphere very good, no complaints. The waiter was horrible. Acted annoyed when we needed an extra minute to decide what we wanted, took the order, delivered the food and that was it. We spent 20 minutes trying to get his attention to refill our coffees. After all the food was eaten, a different girl came and put the check on the table. We asked for some more coffee and she brought over decaf. Being a restaurant owner I understand that this is a service industry… The waiter needs a course in service industry etiquette

In general, the bakery had a lovable staff and a great atmosphere. One of the staff members that served us was Jennifer. She was by far a great and kind waitress that was looking towards our needs. The food was amazing and surprisingly was larger than expected which made us quite full. The experience was pleasant and was quite enjoyable with families. I will definitely be looking forward to another visit at the Smithville Bakery.

Quaint resturant and bakery to have breakfast. My wife had a breakfast sandwich and I had scrambled eggs and bacon. The food was great and the reasonable prices even better. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Atlantic City!

Terrible service!!!! I walked through the saloon to see the tables and know better the bakery. The waitress asked me in a ton if we gonna have breakfast. That was my wish, after she talked to me in this way, like I don’t want be here and my life is miserable! So I decided to try something to eat and seat in the front. I ordered a cookie and was dry and old. PLEASE Don’t waist your time and money with such local business!!!! It looks pretty but it’s not worth it the energy from this place!!!!

Highly recommend the Farmer’s Breakfast. 3 eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, pork roll (ham), home fries, AND the coffee ($3.50 value) all for $13.95. Not going to find that deal in most places, especially the Atlantic City area. The meal was delicious and satisfying. My daughter had the the kids plate of 2 eggs, bacon, and toast. It too was quite a generous portion. Place looked like a old English barn so it was quite charming. Highly recommend.

The food is amazing and very affordable. Classic breakfast foods that just taste so fresh and so good! When I went to Stockton down the road, my roommate and I would love coming here for Sunday breakfasts! My husband and I make it a point to always visit and have breakfast here anytime we make it back to south Jersey.
