By far the best Cheeseburger sub I’ve had in a very long time. The atmosphere is cozy, our waitress said “its nothing fancy,” and those are the best kind of establishments. Their prices are surprisingly low! There’s definitely a reason they’ve been open since the 70s. I’ve added this place to my list of favorites, see ya soon! ;D

Different Cheesesteak #1183. Not afraid to admit I was scared walking in here by myself. The guy playing the Pennsylvania Skills Game greeted me with a big; ‘Hi, What did you win?’ I knew I was home. Great local spot. Every walk of Columbia life was having lunch. Everyone, including the waitress, was friendly. Cheesesteak was typical for the area. Soft roll and house made sauce. Final lasting memory, I got a Troegs on draft. On my receipt it came up ‘Fancy Beer.’ Will Columbia remember me as the fancy boy drinking a fancy beer?!?!?!? These are the best cheesesteaks I have ever had outside of Philly, and I lived there for 20 years. They are also astonishingly inexpensive, and absolutely loaded with good quality meat and toppings. The bread is always fresh. We drive all the way from Hanover to come here (over 40 miles).

Been here before several years ago and found cheesesteaks to be very tasty. Tonight…cheese steaks were taste less. Yet they were nice size..Charged extra to leave off onions…really. Service was slow and our server very inattentive. What happened?? Nice deck though.

We are in at Smiths which we used to do multiple times a week. Day which is Friday Oct. 24 we had the worse experience every the waitress who we had was awful and on top of that the manager that was there was just as bad. Now let me explain what happened so the person I was with ordered a sprite to drink which was terrible tasting so another waitress got him two cans to replace what was no good. Than my sub had hair in it. Nasty…. So when our waitress comes over and I tell her she says ok I will take that away for you. Not I’m sorry is there anything I could do to make things better. So than she comes back to the table and tells the gentleman I was with he can’t bring in outside sodas, we told her he didn’t but because she didn’t know the other waitress helped us we owe her 2.50 for a damn soda.. ok take it out of your tip….. We are done with this place…. NOONE DESERVES TO BE TREATED THIS WAY…..

I ordered multiple subs with sweet peppers on the side, but instead, they were made with hot peppers on the subs. One of the subs couldn’t even be eaten because of an allergy. When I called, the boy who answered the phone was very rude, provided terrible customer service, and even talked back. The food itself is usually great, but the experience really depends on who’s taking the order and making it.

Stopped here to get something to eat on a Wednesday night. 1st time I was here in 25 plus years. The place was not busy at all. The waitress was friendly and professional. Service was fast. The beer was good. Ordered the cheesesteak. The large is very large. This is not a traditional Philly Cheesesteak. It was not bad just different. Thought it was odd they charge extra for cheese on a cheesesteak.
