I love this place, the food is always on point. However this was the first time I have ever ordered to go and when I got home there was no gravy at all for the hamburger steak, it still tasted amazing but it missed the gravy for it and the mashed potatoes. The employees are always super nice. I love that they have green fried tomatoes on their menu it I rare you can find them anymore on menus. Overall this place is amazing for their food, atmosphere and employees

It’s a cute place, nice decor, very clean and great service, but thats not enough to bring us back for a second time. My ribeye had a fridge/freezer taste to it. Wasn’t a quality/flavorful cow even without the off taste. My husband’s chicken fried steak and gravy was not very flavorful either, and It was a bit tough as well. The Texas toast on each plate was cold and soft no “toast” quality to it at all. The mixed veggies were nearly completely raw, especially the carrots. I had to assemble my baked potatoe and it wasn’t even hot enough to melt the butter. The entire meal was a disappointment, especially after reading others great reviews, and coming here for lunch ON my husband’s birthday. I can name several other local places with far better ribeyes and chicken fried steak.

Me and my co workers went for lunch, got the gator bits, fried mushrooms. They definitely know how to fry food. I had the hamburger steak with green beans and mashed potatoes. Everything was good from portion size to the way they flavor the food. My buddy had the catfish with the shrimp sauce on top and really liked it. The staff was very friendly and the food came out fast. Its still kind of old school in how you pay, you take your ticket up to the register but there is some charm in that. I will definitely be back!

Smithharts has always been my favorite place to go eat. I love the Cajun chicken and the fries can eat it every day all day lol always an enjoyable place to be with friends or family the workers are amazing not over baring.

I wanted to like this place. We should have just left when everything on the menu was unavailable. We tried to order five different items with each item being sold out…. That should have been our sign to leave. But we stayed, we wanted to like this place. So we settled for grilled chicken breast, vegetables and potatoes. Yuck, yuck, YUCK. I’m fairly certain a tv dinner has more flavor than what was on our plates this evening. The chicken breast was frozen, and dry and cardboard. This is unfortunately a NO GO. Will not be returning.

This is my first time coming here! I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta… it was literally just breaded chicken nuggets with Louisiana hot sauce and Alfredo pasta. How this could be so wrong is crazy to me.

This place is great! Fried pickles were crisp and some of the best that Ive had! I ate the King Ranch Chicken and it was seasoned to perfection. Environment was calm and relaxing. Nicely decorated and very clean.
