I loved the place. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. But being brutally honest I was expecting fresh Turkey in my sandwich not like Carl Buddig rolled up slices which tastes way different than Deli sliced turkey. The texture is just gross to me. Other than that the ambiance and atmosphere was great and the layout felt authentic Texan.

We had our 25th renewal reception in the party room. We were able to decorate the way we wanted and they helped us rearrange the room. All the staff was very helpful. Landon was are server he went above and beyond to take care of us. Highly recommend if your having an event.

A good restaurant. Food came out hot. Flavors were good. The freshness of the shrimp was excellent. The amount of oil seemed a bit too much for the dish I had.
The parking lot had many spots and seemed wide too.
The servers were friendly and attentive.
The inside is dated. Could use an update and still keep it nostalgic style.
The facility is clean.

2 Stars: Didn’t hit my standards
3 Stars: Average (nothing special)
4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star.

I am writing to share feedback about my recent visit to this restaurant. While the food was absolutely amazing and clearly prepared with care and quality, I was disappointed with the level of service we received.
Our waiter, Ezequiel, was inattentive and unresponsive throughout our visit. We experienced long wait times, had difficulty getting assistance, and felt that our table was not given the attention expected during a dine-in experience. Unfortunately, this negatively impacted what could have been an otherwise excellent meal.
I believe this kitchen is doing a wonderful job, and that is why I felt it was important to share this feedback. With better service, the overall experience would truly match the high quality of the food.
I hope this feedback helps improve future guest experiences.

April 2025. An excellent meal. The seafood meals were hot and tasty. The coffee was hot hot and freshly made, even for 5:pm. The meals came out fast. The waitress was attentive and friendly. This restaurant will be on our circuit for Date Night Great food and friendly faces.

Food was just, OK. Didn’t love it, but didnt hate it. Was a bit bland even with salt & pepper. I would go back to try something different though. Got the chicken fried steak with gravy and mashed potatoes. The menus need to be updated, BAD! Instead of reprinting new menus, they just crossed out prices and hand wrote the new prices. Service wasnt bad, but it wasnt great either. Place is very cute with an old timey feel.

We go here a lot the servers are great they talk to ya check on ya and will bring you things any time you ask for something. This is where adults go for quiet. Theres no unruly kiddos being loud fighting with mom or throwing food. I have only had an issue 2x in the 2yrs I have been going here one was due to the cook quitting and leaving them a kitchen full of kiddos to try and flounder through the night and the other time was when they had a new cook who im sure isn’t going to last long. This is where we take our family for a nice quiet sit down meal and where we go on dates to hide from our kiddos sometimes lol. The place is quiet and we’re all regulars here. The waitresses all remember us and most of them already know what we want when they see us sit at their table. The only issue I have here is the floor to the bathroom is a safety hazard from heck and there was the very old outdated menus that had writing all over it to update prices multiple times and they were torn up pretty bad as well but those have finally been updated…..now if they can fix the hallway so I can easily get to the restroom with my cain id have no complaints.

I love this place, the food is always on point. However this was the first time I have ever ordered to go and when I got home there was no gravy at all for the hamburger steak, it still tasted amazing but it missed the gravy for it and the mashed potatoes. The employees are always super nice. I love that they have green fried tomatoes on their menu it I rare you can find them anymore on menus. Overall this place is amazing for their food, atmosphere and employees

Fried okra was out of this world as were the fried mushroom. The meals chicken and a hamburger were okay. Fries were good . Chicken was a little dry and mashed potatoes were also. Burger lacked something but tasted okay.

11/13/25 food is good…BIG portions, still needs seasoning. VERY outdated. Walls dirty, chairs are shaky, menus have mark outs and new prices written in ink, menus are in pieces. Not busy at all,
9/26/24 overall good experience… 4 in group … burger… chicken sandwich and 2 salads…. service was good…. resturant not busy at all.
Expensive and food is ok. Nothing great. Was probably best resturant in town 10yr ago. But not sure anything has changed since
2nd trip was better.. 1st trip was valentine’s dinner. This trip was late lunch on a Saturday. Bacon blue burger and pasta was much better than 1st trip.
Have gone back a few times and it’s better. Every restaurant has a bad day… I’m guessing 1st trip was bad day
Another trip… back to disappointed. Service was SLOW… took… 30-45 min for a burger and pasta. Burger was well done and raw all in one burger. Fries were not seasoned at all. Ordered sweet tea… for some reason they don’t like ice… refilled my tea and melted my ice.
