Nice friendly staff, clean inside, and we had the combo plates. There was BBQ, Chicken, hushpuppies, and two sides. It was too much for us to eat, so we had enough for lunch the next day. Everything tasted great.

We stopped here on a road trip to charge our Tesla. The food was surprisingly good, especially the barbecue sandwich. The staff was very friendly and bussed the tables, asked if they could refill drinks, etc. I would definitely eat here again!

Coleslaw was not very good… Canes coleslaw is much better. Potato salad was ok… bar-b-q brisket, i guess, looked like it came out of a frozen dinner box. Chicken tenders were mid. I don’t know these fast food restaurants are all too worried about saving money on everything that the quality of the food is terrible. The service was really good. Food was brought to table and I was offered sauces. They came to my table and refilled my drink.

We have traveled from WA to NC, and this was our first outing out. We were welcomed with a warm smile and a hello.
We did have a small problem with our order, but the entire team stepped up to ensure we were taken care of. We’d like to give a very BIG thank you to Mr. Hill, he was awesome! Amazing customer service, polite, and stopped by the table twice to ensure we had everything we needed.
The food and atmosphere were great. We will definitely be back!

This location has THE WORST customer service, period. Rude attitudes at the drive-thru like customers are a burden, food always cold, and the potato salad was so salty it was straight inedible. Clearly nobody is tasting the food or giving a damn about quality.
This place desperately needs new management, because whatever is happening right now is unacceptable. I won’t be back.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and go to the Yopp Rd. location instead — food is always fresh, customer service is A1, and they actually treat you like they want your business.

I stopped by on my way to work and was served chicken that was hard and dried out. I called the location and spoke with a manager regarding the issue, but the response I received was dismissive and unprofessional. I have been a loyal customer of Smithfield’s for many years and have generally enjoyed the food and service. Unfortunately, this experience has left me disappointed, and it will likely be some time before I return.

I grew up eating Smithfield’s, I also worked for the company for 10 years before it was franchised. The sandwiches I purchased and was given last night were not the Smithfield’s quality they have always been. The bun was cheap, no bounce or breading then they were pretty stingy with the slaw and BBQ. Paying that much for an NC staple I expected more when I was really craving it and looking forward to it. It will definitely be a while before I come back.
