Big thanks to the Smithfield’s staff and management. We stopped by while driving to raleigh and our food was not the quality we’ve come to expect from Smithfield’s. Every time I come home to Warsaw, North Carolina to visit family, Smithfield’s Chicken & BBQ is a must-stop for me. This visit, however, meant even more.
We recently lost the patriarch of our family—my great grandpa—and during such an emotional time, I was responsible for making sure everyone was fed. I want to sincerely thank Ashley, who showed so much patience, kindness, and care while helping me place a large order. She made sure I had more than enough food to feed my family and even helped us get everything safely into the car.
That level of hospitality meant more to me than I can put into words. In moments of grief, small acts of compassion make a big difference, and Smithfield’s delivered that and more. I’m truly grateful and will continue supporting this location every time I’m in town.

Probably the best SCNB franchise I’ve ever been to – and I’ve been to a lot of them. Friendly and attentive staff, clean tables and bathrooms, and the fries & hushpuppies were hot & crispy. Perfect dining experience for a couple of travel-worn folks. Will definitely be pulling off at exit 364 again in the future!

Ordered the combo white plate amd it was delicious. The pork was flavorful on its own. It didn’t need more sauce. The fried chicken was tender and juicy. The baked beans tasted homemade. And the hushpuppies — what can I say? They’re a hit. I wish there were more of them in an order. Hostesses came by for drink refills and they were all friendly and caring. My companions got the chicken tenders, another solid choice.

Stopped in on our way back home to charge at the Tesla superchargers on site. While we were stopped we grabbed dinner. We had the chicken tenders, coleslaw and hush puppies. All the food tasted great and came out fresh. While dining the staff offered to provide anything needed like sauces or drink refills. The service was amazing and we’ll make sure to stop by again in the future.
