As soon as I arrived in the state I knew exactly where I wanted to eat, and what I wanted to order. The quality of their food has been the same for more than a decade and that is something that I can greatly appreciate. Not only is the quality great, but they ensure that the food is hot and fresh each time, I can also appreciate the fact that the food is never dripping with greasy or extremely oily. I don’t mind if there is a short wait. I’d rather wait a few minutes longer for fresh food, than to have to circle back around the drive-thru due to my food being mediocre. I’m a fan!

I went to this location while traveling last week. Customer Service was extremely poor. The staff member who took my order presented as rude, with behavior ranging from aggressive to passive aggressive. In addition, I did not receive the correct order. The order and food l did receive was cold. If l could give no stars in this review, l would. I contacted management with my concern. Based on previous reviews this has been an on-going issue at this location.

Great food, what BBQ place doesn’t sell Mac, n cheese? Also, I understand it’s a fast food location but received a lot of attitude upon placing my order. Would expect more understanding considering the limited number of locations. Guess they dont want new customers and only repeats. Won’t be back.

Another famous chicken and barbecued restaurant in town not quite as good as a barbecue hut but second in comparison, Another reason I didn’t give atmosphere more than one was because I went through the drive through, Finally they have a red sauce that is good for putting on chicken or barbecue actually the red sauce as probably the best sauce they have in the store restaurant.

Perfectly cooked chicken with light crunchy batter. Yummy! the honey hush puppies are to die for and I don’t normally like coleslaw but I love this kind. all the sides are good. Smithfield recently catered three of our events and kudos to Charles and the rest of the staff for putting it together and loaded up for me. Outstanding customer service and super clean restaurant. Will definitely be back again and again.

The Female Supervisor/ Manager Wouldn’t Or Even Tried To Fix The Problem of Not Getting My Order Corrected!! She Has No Customer Service Qualifications At All!! I’ve been a Smithfield’s fan since the 90s while stationed at Camp LeJeune. This location has probably the best customer service out of most restaurants. It’s extra clean inviting and customer service is excellent. Today, a young lad by the name of Cal is who I will give proper recognition. Thank you Cal. As for the food, we all know we love their food. Sadly, through the years the portions have drastically reduced. I don’t think they use chickens anymore they look the size of pigeons and the Cole slaw and bake beans is less than half as they used to give you in the past. The banana pudding cups are half the size of what they used to be. What hasn’t changed is the increased price. In 2025, you pay double for half the food. Nonetheless, it is still a good place to eat that cravings when it hits. The clientele due to these facts have drastically dropped. My last visit was 6 months ago. It’s just too expensive for my budget. But thank you.
