Smiley Brothers has quickly become one of my favorite spots. I’ve eaten here a few times now, and every visit has been excellent. Today we tried the Italian and roast beef sandwiches — both were top notch. You can tell they make their own sauces and breads because the flavors are on another level. The fries come out perfectly crispy, and the brown butter chocolate chip cookies… hands down the best I’ve ever had. On top of the food, the service is always super friendly and helpful, the shop is spotless, and I really like their wine selection too. Consistently great quality all around — definitely a 5-star place.

This place has the greatest burgers in the Pelham/I-65 area for sure if you are out that way. Parking can be limited as is the seating inside, and definitely stay away from going on a nice Saturday as you will be standing to eat lol…I had the burger with grilled pepperoni on top and it is a heavy hitter on weight and great flavor!! This is a real specialty shop so the pricing is way above most for a burger and even more so if you add fries and a drink you will tap out $30 real quick for lunch!! The burger was heavy on weight though so lots of good meat so you will never be asking “Where’s the Beef?” lol…BUT, be prepared for messy and greasy hands unless you use the steak knife and fork they give you to eat with and pretend to be upper crust British royalty lol…But with that said, the staff are friendly, service is quick or as quick as to be expected when busy I guess lol,,,,and the food is great. I saw many who ordered sandwiches that were cutting them in half and doing take out at the end of the meal so I guess if you get two meals out of a sandwich maybe lunch is worth $30 lol….brings it down to the norm for a split meal. They are closed on Sunday and Monday so hit it during the week is my suggestion for lunch and make it a late lunch and you can order and sit reasonably quickly. I was talking with a couple next to me who said they buy all their Filet Mignon there and they are the best around, check the price before ordering them maybe lol…the tv shows photos of some meats and they look scrumptious with lots of fine marble so maybe one day I will stop in and get some steaks to grill for a treat. As the title of the shop states they are definitely a Specialty Food Shop!! Give them a go and write your own review so I can see if I was correct on mine!!

My wife and I either dine in or get take-out from Smiley Bros at least twice a month and routinely shop here for their high quality steaks. We recently had them make up a charcuterie board for a camping trip we went on with some friends and it was amazing. Great quality food whether dining in or shopping for a meal at home and even better people.

Smiley Brothers in Pelham is truly crème de la crème. We have shopped here for years, and everything they carry, meats, wines, cheeses, dips, sauces, you name it, is top tier.
Last night, they hosted a private five-course dinner with wine pairings for our company Christmas celebration, and I was honestly at a loss for words. Every course was thoughtful, beautifully prepared, and perfectly paired. It felt personal, elevated, and effortless all at the same time.
We also know John, one of the partners, and his passion and attention to detail show in every part of the experience. This place is a gem, and we are so lucky to have it so close.
Highly recommend for everyday shopping and unforgettable experiences.

Bit shocked this place doesn’t have a 5 star rating (although 4.8 is about as good as any business can do with all the Karen’s out there). The food here is always fantastic. The staff is great, and the atmosphere has great vibes. Top quality meals, and it’s consistent. It’s a good thing I’m not a local, or I’d eat here way too much. It’s delicious!

My friend and I just ate here and were not disappointed in the least. She had the burger and I had the club and beef fat fries with their homemade ranch. Everything about it hit just the right spot. The atmosphere is rustic yet upscale and inviting. We will certainly be back for more!

Fantastic! Gorgeous facility with great ambiance, friendly service and the food was perfectly delicious. I had an Italian sandwich and I could tell that it was made with quality ingredients. The pimiento cheese was delicious as well. And you can purchase a bottle of wine to drink with your lunch, which is a plus. Highly recommend!
