If you want to experience something extraordinary, try ordering the largest bowl of jjambbong. You’ll be amazed by the incredible amount of seafood and the size that you wouldn’t expect at that price.
For reference, the food photos were taken after I got it as takeout and ate it at home.
The jajangmyeon is the main staple dish and it’s HUGE. Everything is pretty solid and the portions are enormous. The price is not as cheap as before- but still good for current market prices.
It’s not the most warm environment, but if you want a meal with friends, this is the place. You will always have leftovers. Parking is no problem.
It is a little sketchy at night, but just come in groups you were venture there late at night.
It was my first reviews.————————————
I gave them 4 stars that time.
I tried some cafeteria menu. Spicy chicken was very tasty. They know how to fries and make the sauce. However, Jajangmeon was pretty watery and compared to Jampong it needs more topping. Jampong has enough seafood topping with veggies. Staff were nice too. Next time I’d like to try different menu.
– spicy deep fried chicken / kkanpunggi (#16): the sweet & spicy sauce was good. The chicken pieces were generous and big. The breading was just right (not too bready) and each pieces had thick juicy meat. I wish that they cut the chicken a tad smaller so it could soaked all the sauces.
– jajangmyeon (#1): the black bean sauce was tasty and good. The noodle was cooked perfectly: chewy and soft. The meat pieces were good and plenty.
There are self-serve to-go container for the leftover. We would definitely come back to try different menu.
