The taste is average, but the appeal of this place lies in its portions, which are overwhelmingly larger than other similar establishments.

If you want to experience something extraordinary, try ordering the largest bowl of jjambbong. You’ll be amazed by the incredible amount of seafood and the size that you wouldn’t expect at that price.

For reference, the food photos were taken after I got it as takeout and ate it at home.

We came in pretty late. Had a craving while we were in the area and came in late, they were literally cleaning the floor. I felt bad and asked if it was too late and offered to leave if it was too inconvenient, but they welcomed us in, made our janjangmen and spicy froee chicken in like 10 minutes and it exceeded our expectations, it was so delicious. The portions were huge and the prices were super reasonable especially compared to any of the nearby Korean restaurants. It was so good.

Love their jajangmyun. My favorite korean style chinese food try jajangmyun with sweet n sour pork(tangsuyuk) or chili garlic deep fried shrimp. Best combo If you like spicy soup, try jampong instead jajangmyun.

Smile has the best Korean Chinese food! We ordered a bit of everything. Jajangmyeon, jjamppong, tangsuyuk, spicy deep fried chicken, and beef fried rice. The tangsuyuk and jjamppong were my favorite. The fried rice was tasty too. The chicken wasn’t spicy at all this last time we came.

A nice place for a meal. Always spacious and there will be room.

The jajangmyeon is the main staple dish and it’s HUGE. Everything is pretty solid and the portions are enormous. The price is not as cheap as before- but still good for current market prices.

It’s not the most warm environment, but if you want a meal with friends, this is the place. You will always have leftovers. Parking is no problem.

It is a little sketchy at night, but just come in groups you were venture there late at night.

I recently tried here again. They improved a lot. Especially jajangmyeon is so good. The amount of ingredients which means meats and veggies are good enough. Jajang myeon is not watery anymore but also not too thick. Spicy chicken is still so good . I tried fried rice for the first time. I can feel well cooked rice on the wok. This is the best jajang myeon place in sacramento so far.

It was my first reviews.————————————
I gave them 4 stars that time.
I tried some cafeteria menu. Spicy chicken was very tasty. They know how to fries and make the sauce. However, Jajangmeon was pretty watery and compared to Jampong it needs more topping. Jampong has enough seafood topping with veggies. Staff were nice too. Next time I’d like to try different menu.

This place is a legit Korean restaurant. The space was vast with lots of tables & seats. We were seated immediately despite that the restaurant was pretty busy. We got our food around 15 mins after ordering.

– spicy deep fried chicken / kkanpunggi (#16): the sweet & spicy sauce was good. The chicken pieces were generous and big. The breading was just right (not too bready) and each pieces had thick juicy meat. I wish that they cut the chicken a tad smaller so it could soaked all the sauces.
– jajangmyeon (#1): the black bean sauce was tasty and good. The noodle was cooked perfectly: chewy and soft. The meat pieces were good and plenty.

There are self-serve to-go container for the leftover. We would definitely come back to try different menu.

Nice and quiet place, waited about 10-15mins on food. The portions are HUGE enough to feed a group of 3-4 people. The price is good for how much you’re getting.
