This place has been on our list of places to try for a while but haven’t had the time to go. We finally went for our sons first birthday and so glad we finally went. The food was AMAZING! I had the MOS burger with garlic Parmesan loaded fries, my husband had the Maui Wowi burger with BBQ loaded fries, and my son had the kids Mac n cheese. The burgers were juicy and tasted so good. We practically devoured them. The Parmesan fries were not too garlicky but had a good amount of cheese to them and the fries itself were perfectly crispy, in my opinion. My son ate a good chunk of the Mac n cheese barely throwing any on the ground. He’s usually a finicky eater but not last night. We got an Oreo milkshake to celebrate our birthday boy with and that was also delicious. The service was also phenomenal. We were the only ones there and didn’t realize that it was an hour before closing when we arrived, but the staff didn’t make us feel rushed or anything. They allowed us to enjoy our food and family time.
10/10 would go again. Definitely our new favorite local spot

Excellent food, staff and atmosphere. Such great food. Husband had the Pastrami sandwich, with coleslaw. I had the Grilled Turkey and cheese on sourdoug with French fries.. Did I mention how good it was? French fries were delicious. They make their own. We also split a house salad and their ranch dressing is spot on. Will definitely eat their again and again

Wow….. Really great find! The Chili Cheeseburger was really great! Very flavorful with just the right spice level! Large enough to split (or leftover lunch for tomorrow ). The homemade fries were also amazing. Nice texture and seasoned well! Quite impressed!

I work at a dealership that is right up the road from smashers eats and let me tell you how absolutely delicious their food is. Everything is made from scratch including the barbecue sauce. And the nice lady who is the owner now has chocolate chip cookies bake from scratch and let me tell you how amazing they are. If you’re on the north side of town definitely stop here. You won’t be disappointed.

Unassuming cafe located in a small interstate mountain town. That being said it has some fantastic food. I grew up and currently live on the east coast where hole in the wall hidden gems are hard to find but 100% worth the effort. This place rates with the best of them. I ordered the pastrami burger with potato salad. The pastrami is some of the best home smoked I’ve ever had. It added just enough smokey flavor to a juicy meaty patty. It was a great burger that I wish I had closer to home.
Now let’s talk about the potato salad. At first it looked like Tetris pieces in a bowl. I was amused and intrigued. Seeing potatoes cut into random squares and rectangles was different but I didn’t care once I tasted it. It was delicious, the pickle and dressing went very well together.
All in all I was impressed, the cashier/waitress was friendly and I will come back if I’m ever around this way again.

What ever you do don’t pass this place. I was staying in Elko and drove 22 miles over here because I was told these are the best burgers in the area. 100% right! I love custom burgers. I had the Fatty Burger. Hand made patty, pulled pork, and Mac and cheese. Unreal! I’ll come here every time I’m in the area. Can’t wait to try their other burgers.

Moving to Carlin from Northern California I heard a lot of “Best Burger in Town” or “Best food in Nevada” none of it is true until you eat at Smashers. Truly great food, served along side a smile. You can tell a lot of love surrounds this restaurant. ****Always upgrade to loaded fries****
