Another great restaurant has come to downtown Greenfield! Sure, it’s a burger place, but these are not your ordinary burgers and fries. You’re able to choose a single, double, or triple burger. Not feeling like beef? They also have chicken, beyond “meat”, salmon, and of course a pork tenderloin. With choices like these everyone will be happy. Several side options are available along with soft drinks or beer on tap to wash down your tasty burger. Do you need dessert? They have you covered there too with a variety of ice cream and Dole Whip if you want.
So I indulged in “kickin’ pickle” burger and it was amazing! Just as advertised, the burger edges were crispy and the center was juicy. I had fries as a side and they were better than most places fries, but nothing super special. I also ordered a dole whip swirl which was pineapple and orange. It was amazing.
The ladies behind the counter were patient and upbeat. They were all smiling despite the fact that they were super busy. I will most definitely be returning to try somenof their other inventive burgers.

Smash’d Midwest Burgers has quickly become one of my favorite burger places! The burgers are seriously delicious — perfectly smashed, packed with flavor, and they offer unique combinations you don’t find anywhere else.
Their specials are great too. On Sundays, you get a free small Dole Whip with combo purchase, which is such a fun (and tasty) bonus. The portions are great, the food comes out hot, and everything tastes fresh.
The staff is friendly, the service is quick – though not fast food quick as your food is made to order, and the whole place has that welcoming, local‑favorite vibe. If you’re craving a great burger with creative twists, this is a great place to go.

True blue smash burgers, excellent crispy skirt on them. Also has chicken sandwiches (wife said hers was probably the best she’s had outside of a sit-down restaurant), salads, soup, and other items on the menu. Also has a great ice cream/sweet treat offering. Spacious and bright, friendly staff. Lunch specials ~$11/person. Not a fan of the ‘breaded’ fries but that’s personal preference. My wife loved them. Tucked in right across from the courthouse so parking might be tricky, but worth the visit!
Edit: They have fries without the breading! Just ask for gluten free. They’re perfect! I also just went ‘plain Jane’ this time, meat bread, mayo. The burger flavor was excellent. Hands down best burger in the area.

My mom and I came in last Friday, the food was fresh and very good! The staff was friendly, and kind! I definitely recommend coming here if you want a phenomenal burger and fries!

First time coming here and it’s super close to where I live, man this place was killer good.
I got the Sleepy Hollow double which is Swiss cheese, boar’s head bacon, crispy onion, shredded lettucе, tomato, garlic aioli with some regular fries.
What a super burger, flavor was spot on for a smash burger with lots of flavor and super juicy.

Pretty good burgers. Enjoyed the aristocrat as a single and would get it again. The regular fries lacked flavor, however; they were delicious when covered with cheese and other toppings. Also tried the cheesecake brownie sundae. Enjoyed the flavor of the brownie itself but the cheesecake flavor was lacking. The pricing at purchase also didn’t reflect what was listed on the menu.

I travel a bit to concerts, races and vacations on the beach throught the year. Wherever im at I try to find a burger joint and see how good they are. Ive tried burgers in Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina and here in Indiana. Just finished with the double OG. I will say y’all hit my top 5. Being at my hometown of Greenfield means ill be back to take another crack at the menu. Im think a triple sleepy hollow on my next visit.
