I recently ordered from Smash Burger and it was by far one of the worst burgers my husband and I have ever had. The burger was completely bland with no seasoning at all. The bacon was the biggest disappointment flat, chewy, rubbery, and genuinely lifeless. It was so bad that it made the entire burger inedible, and I honestly couldn’t tell if it was even properly cooked.
My husband loves burgers, and even he couldn’t finish it. We absolutely do not recommend this place based on our experience. Sadly, we won’t be ordering from Smash Burger again.

Chicken is always perfectly cooked, seasoned beautifully, tastes delicious and delivered in good time but ARE YOU RATIONING THE MAYO!?? Twice now I’ve ordered 2 chicken burgers and all 4 have been ridiculously dry (lacking sauce) Morrisons mayo to the rescue on both occasions!! Still lush though

personally matter of fact not even personally I would say factually this place has the best burgers ever. me and my friend always come here when we shop in Newcastle and we are always greeted with amazing customer service. the food is another story, the chicken is so juicy and moist it’s unbelievable that chicken could cooked to such perfection. And don’t even get me started on the chips. the chips are soooo perfect and made crispy on the outside and so fluffy on the inside. The place is clean and tidy servers always clean tables when people leave and they are so sweet. this is not at all sarcasm this is how I truly feel when I come here it’s my fav food place in Newcastle probs beats Nando’s or wingstop

Great food with a large and highly customisable choice of burgers, sides and drinks. We tried a smashed beef and also a chicken burger both were very well cooked and tasted amazing. Staff are super friendly and explained how we use the touch screens to order. Definitely a place to try if you are in Newcastle.

Popped into Smash Burger Newcastle on a Wednesday night with our Daughters. We were served by the lovely Sheldon and Cat who kindly stopped us ordering for the Girls, informing us that kids eat for free on Wednesdays. I really expected more from this place. You look at the location and pricing and assume the burger is going to be good….but unfortunately it wasn’t.
For the price, I expected something clearly better than a Big Mac — and it wasn’t even close. The patty was extremely overcooked, dry, and crunchy, almost like eating pork crackling instead of beef. It didn’t taste like a smash burger at all, just hard and flavorless.
Paying more for a burger that’s worse than fast food is disappointing. Maybe this location is inconsistent, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t come back.

Honestly, I don’t know what happened to this restaurant, which was distinguished by its burger steaks, because recently it has become a dry burger patty that does not contain any liquids that have been grilled for a longer period, and there is no taste at all. The other dishes were honestly delicious and the staff needs to be more smiling and friendly with customers.

Food looked great but unfortunately was average at best and cost too much for what you get! £20 per person and it just wasn’t worth it! The staff were decent but the atmosphere just felt like a quiet McDonalds! Probably won’t go back!
