Just looking for burgers near Cal Expo and saw these guys. Lucky me. Turns out this is a great burger shop with a varied menu including build-your-own or common combinations. Great fries including sweet potato and tater tots. Shakes we tried were peanut butter, salted caramel and candy cane. All had great flavor. The staff is quick courteous and attentive. The food came quickly, even during the lunch hour. Bright open area. We’ll be back. Ate the food so quickly, totally forgot about them for a review

Delicious food and amazing service, the cashier was very polite while taking our orders. The place is very sanitary with there are plenty of seating options. I came here for dinner and I think it would be a perfect place to go for a quick bite before seeing a movie.

Apparently, I was wrong for assuming the “build your own burger” option meant that the customer picks what goes on the burger. In reality, the cook chooses to do absolutely whatever they want. Even after attempting to reconcile, they still couldn’t get it right. Both our burgers were wrong, the fries were disgustingly greasy, and the bacon was borderline raw. I genuinely wish we would have asked for a refund and left but after working an 8 hour shift while 7 months pregnant, I really just wanted to eat and go home. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

The burgers can taste even better if you make good use of the sauces.
It also feels like a place that’s more kid-friendly.

The food was delicious. I love that they have a lot of options for customizing their burgers. Great price too! We ordered 2 smashburgers, sweet potato fries, brussel sprouts (maybe the best thing in the menu no joke!) and 2 sodas and it was only $27. Would absolutely recommend checking this place out!

Smash Burger is a great place for a burger, whether you eat meat or not.
I had the Double Truffle Mushroom Smash burger (black bean) and it was delicious. I also got the Scotchin’ Tots and they were amazing! I highly recommend them if you like spicy food. A thick and creamy cookies and cream milkshake topped off the meal.
The staff was welcoming and checked on us throughout our meal. I would recommend this location if you want a burger.

First time at a Smashburger but definitely won’t be the last. Erik helped us out with the questions we had about a few different menu items, have us his opinion and made the whole process simple and easy. It was a quiet night so the food came out quick and hot, the cheesy mac smash was just as cheesy as Erik said it would be and that did not disappoint! The fries were the perfect amount of crispy and had great flavor with what they were tossed in. Can’t believe it took me so long to try Smashburger can’t wait to try it again! Thanks Erik!
