We ordered two of the double patty smash burgers with an order of garlic olive oil fries. We sat outside because there weren’t any clean, empty tables inside (even though the place was not busy; we were the only ones in line.) Waited about 25 mins for the food to come out—burger was pretty good, but it was very salty, fries were nothing to write home about. (Also, weird automatic tip function when you’re trying to check out…?)
Would recommend Whattaburger over this establishment.

A nice quiet restaurant with great service. Summer was really kind. The create your own smash burger ensures you can choose exactly what you want. And the sweet potato fries are my absolute favorite. I promised Matt that I would try the crispy Brussels sprouts on my next visit.

Absolutely stellar service from Matt at Smashburger! One burger came out a bit undercooked, and he immediately offered to remake it—no hassle, no attitude. Matt was friendly, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed (down to the forks). Food came out super fast, and the reorder was just as quick. Mistake handled perfectly—would definitely recommend, and we’ll be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is our first time here and it did not disappoint. Burgers were delicious, as was the chili cheese dog and the tots. The price was a nice surprise! I got a single deluxe burger for $4.99 and it was filling! The BF got the bacon double and the chili cheese dog. The dog was Huge! Employees are friendly and helpful, and service was fast. (Pictures taken after we devoured the burgers. lol)

We’ve seen the same guy working here when we come and he’s always friendly and so helpful with a big “welcome in!” whenever someone walks in the door – 5 stars for him! The rest of the staff are fine. The store however could use a deep clean and booth repair. Initially I thought maybe we’d caught them after a busy rush, but giving them a couple more chances over the last year and seeing how dirty the place is even on slow nights is hard to justify continuing to eat here. If the front looks like this, what does the kitchen look like?
Burgers are good but the chicken sandwich is so disappointing – it’s basically just two fried chicken strips with a couple pickles. For the price, I’d expect the chicken sandwich to be on par with the burgers. For the cost, we’ll probably stick with Five Guys.

We went in about 9:30. They close at 10:00. There was a young Man who was cleaning the dining room, he had all the chairs up pretty much on the tables, that had chairs. There was a table of people that was eating. And then we walked in and he seemed rather irritated that he had to stop cleaning to come to the counter to take our order. Just seemed really rather pissed that he had to take our order. Not only was he not very helpful with my questions or very nice about it. Didn’t offer any upsells which, I’m okay with, but the whole interaction was just very intense. So I grabbed my cup and then I went ahead and filled my drink. Was never asked if it was for here to go. We get our drinks we go sit at a booth, the same young man came out and pretty much slid the bag of food onto the table turned around walked away. It was in it to go bag but I had planned on eating real quick, in the resturant. I mean it’s not like we were making them stay open late. The other table was there eating. So we went ahead and ate our meal. The other table got up and left it’s like 9:45 we’re getting close to being done. But between the time of us getting our food and about 9:45 it was made very clear that he was highly irritated. By slamming the chairs on the tables banging just about everything he could out in the restaurant area to make it obvious that we were not welcome, really to be sitting there eating our food that we just purchased. His manager came out and I thought about saying something but I was not in the mood, if I would have started, I probably would not have stopped. It was very uncomfortable. And the saddest part is of course just like everywhere else, they Hit you up for a tip right when you’re paying. I myself if I had been paying I would not have tipped him just from the initial contact. But the person I was with is way nicer than me and even had left a tip. We definitely definitely definitely regret that leaving one now. So if you want to be treated like crap that’s the place to go. The food however was very on point very good food. Some people just hate their jobs that’s when they need to quit and go find something they like. And not make their customers feel like it is a burden to be taking care of them. Definitely will not be returning to the Smashburger on North Nevada Ave.

We ate here, for the first time, a few weeks ago. Parking was sufficient and close enough to the building and our order was taken and food received quickly.
In this case, the restaurant was out of bacon, which pretty much destroyed all of the options because almost their entire menu has bacon (which the young lady taking our order pointed out)…and, when I tried to order an item from the menu and just said that I would take it without the bacon, they said they couldn’t even make the burger without the bacon! …pretty bizarre and extremely limiting.
When we did receive the food, the burgers were actually tender and quite good, just pretty basic. The children’s burger was a full sized burger and bun, but without much for condiments and add-ons (which was nice, for us, because our 2 year old eats almost like an adult!).
The restaurant itself is definitely showing a lot of age…torn seats, damaged tables, etc. It could really use an update.
All in all, the food that we did get was good, but severely limited in options, the service was fine, and the restaurant needs a lot of help on the design/atmosphere side. We felt that the price was actually quite low in comoarison to the average food we get at comparable places, so we may try a different Smashburger, to see if we have a different experience, but this one wasn’t great.

It was my families first time in.
The burgers were hot, juicy and full of flavor.
The tots were delicious and the shakes we ordered were old fashion creamy.
Highly recommend.
