2 burgers 2 fries 35 mins…utterly confused.
Ordered: 6:08pm (empty restaurant, 1 family in front of me)
Recieved: 6:45pm
It’s actually worse than I thought, the burgers were ready at 6:10pm and sat in the window, I checked back in around 6:25, he said just waiting on tots and waffle fries, I watched an order after me get my tots.
6:30 asked for the burger, to realize it was sitting under the lights. Soggy bun, melty Mac burger.
Ate the burger, waited 5 mins
Waffle fries done waited 5 mins
Tots done.

The food was great. I got the deluxe chicken smash and it was simple, nothing complicated, yet tasted good. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The wait wasn’t even 5 minutes, but I came when there was no one there. Still impressed by the speed. Definitely will go again.

I don’t usually take the time to write Google reviews, but my experience at Smashburger today definitely deserves one — all thanks to Matt. From the moment I walked in, he made me feel genuinely welcome. You can tell right away that he really cares about what he does and about making sure customers have a great experience.
Matt greeted everyone with a smile and a ton of positive energy. He didn’t just take my order — he actually talked to me, offered some great recommendations (the Classic Smash with truffle fries, which were amazing), and made sure everything came out hot and exactly how I wanted it. When my shake was delayed a couple of minutes, he noticed before I even said anything, apologized sincerely, and brought it out himself with a smile and a “thanks for waiting.” That kind of attention to detail and pride in service is rare these days, especially at a fast-casual place.
The restaurant itself was clean, organized, and had a nice vibe — but what really stood out was how Matt kept things running smoothly even when it got busy. I saw him multitasking like a pro: helping new team members, checking on tables, and still taking time to chat with guests. You can tell he sets the tone for the whole place.
Honestly, people like Matt are the reason customers come back. He turned what could’ve been just another quick burger stop into a genuinely great dining experience. Smashburger is lucky to have someone like him representing the brand.
If you visit this location, do yourself a favor — ask for Matt. He’s the definition of great customer service.

We drive to this location from the Morristown area because my son thinks that Smashburger burgers are the best and I have to agree with him. The service is top notch with great staff.. so a shout out to the people who actually make the burgers, good job! The person we always seem to run into who appears to be the hostess is Kamaria. She is pleasant, efficient and professional and we always enjoy having her take our order! So if you want a great burger, give Smashburger in Parsippany a try, you won’t regret it!

I had a great experience at Smashburger. The spicy jalapeño burger was incredibly juicy, flavorful, and had the perfect amount of heat… definitely one of the tastiest burgers I’ve had in a while.
The fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. I also tried the chicken fingers, and you can immediately tell they’re made fresh, not the usual frozen ones.
The restaurant was clean and well kept, and the employees were super friendly and helpful. They made sure everything came out hot and fresh, and even checked in to see how the food was.
Overall, a great experience from food to service. I’ll definitely be back!

I want to preface this review with the fact I have eaten here many times with no issues, so this time was a huge disappointment. I ordered 2 burgers and fries to go. Something told me to check my order when I got to the car. Both burgers were wrong. Back inside. Another 10 minute wait. By that time my fries were cold (yes, they did not offer fresh fries) so I asked nicely for replacements. That took another 10 minutes. Total time to get “fast” food? Just under 30 minutes. So glad I opted to tip, again for “fast” food, how bad would it have been if I didn’t? No apology. No offer of fresh fries when I had to wait for them to correct their mistake, and 30 minutes of my day I’ll never get back. The worst part was the lack of regard for my time. A simple apology would have went a long way….

The food was super delicious and the staff was super friendly the cashier Lena recommended the truffle mushroom Swiss with crispy chicken it was amazing and had sweet potato waffle fries for the side they were very cool. You don’t normally see sweet potato waffle fries anywhere I recommend getting them with a side of ranch the ranch takes it to the next level. Originally, we ordered our meals to go, but we’re taking back By the fun Atmosphere of Smashburger and decided Dine in which made the experience even better would highly recommend coming here. This place is so much fun.

The Brussels sprouts were really good. I don’t usually like veggie burgers but I thought they did a good job on their black bean burger. Good job, Smashburger. Sincerely, a vegetarian.
