The saucy fries are so addicting! Definitely a must get.
For the burgers we got the peanut butter jelly bacon burger and kimchi burger. Definitely two interesting flavors.
The peanut butter jelly just tastes like a peanut butter jelly, honestly. Hard to taste the bacon. Very good, but get some water as the peanut butter will make you very thirsty.
We got the kimchi burger because we thought the kimchi might make the burger more refreshing, but the abundance of sauce made it a little bit thick. It still taste really good, though!

Was really excited to try this spot out and they 100% lived up to expectations. Best smash burger I’ve had in awhile. We went with a small group of friends and entered through the Fremont Brewing. We scanned the QR code then placed our order on our phones, plenty of benches nearby to sit at and eat.
The burger itself was great. Nice soft bread and the patty had a good texture and full of flavor. The fries were seasoned just the right amount, and the loaded fries were addicting. I’m coming back and I recommend to everyone, that they should try this spot out.

Hands down the best smash burger in Seattle and top 5 I’ve ever had. Don’t over complicate it. Just order the first one on the menu and you’ll thank me later. I also love the easy ordering process and quick turnaround. Great location in Fremont Brewing too. 10/10

Coming from LA, I’ve had my fair share of smash burgers, and I can confidently say this is the BEST smash burger in Seattle! The patty was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor in every bite. The bun, toppings, and sauces all came together flawlessly—it’s the kind of burger you crave again the moment you finish it.
But what really makes this spot special is the way they treat you. The staff makes you feel like family the second you walk in—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to serve you. That level of hospitality is hard to come by, and it makes the whole experience unforgettable.
If you’re in Seattle Lake City way and love a great burger, this is a must-try. Trust me, it rivals (and beats) a lot of the famous smash burgers back in LA!

Overall pretty good joint in the current craze of smash burgers.. it was a little salty, but they are set up in Fremont Brewing, so a good beer or two washed the saltiness away. I’d go back and have a burger and a pint any day.

These are the best smash burgers I have ever had!! I would give Smash That ten stars if I could! My husband and I and our ten year old son unanimously blown away upon the first bite! We got the The Oklahoma added bacon & crispy onions, The Oklahoma with no sauce for the boy and The Peanut Butter, Jam & Bacon Burger (has blackberry jam) husband had to try it and was the best decision he ever made! We go to a lot of burger places & this is at the very top of our list now taking the #1 spot for smash burgers! We also had the Saucy Fries which were also amazing and didn’t get soggy like most do. Highly recommend if you’re in the North Gate area of Seattle or if you’re willing to drive from wherever you are for the best!

I have been to lots of burger joints throughout Washington State. This by far is on the top of my list. I got the Peanut Butter and Blackberry Smash. Such a great combination. Met the owner and he was super cool. It’s a must it you are in the Seattle area. This place deserves an award.

Smash That Burger Co was a place we’ve been wanting to try for a while and it did not disappoint! We went on a day that they were usually closed, so there was no wait time. The food was delicious!
Fries: the regular fries are seasoned with salt and pepper. They were warm and delicious! The special sauce has a heavy dill taste, but it was really good to dip in.
Oklahoma Smash Burger: The two patty smash burger was delicious! The cheese was super good and the bun was fresh.
The Chester: A grilled cheese smash burger. With Texas toast for the bun and American cheese, this was our favorite burger of the two. We would add a second patty next time.
