We are from out of town, wanted something local to eat and found this place on google. It was DELICIOUS, exactly what you want in a smash burger! We both got the regular smash burgers with a side of the honey creole mustard, our sides were the sweet potatoes fries ( which had cinnamon in the batter) and onion rings. Everything was delicious and cooked in a great amount time! Would definitely recommend giving a try!

Hands down, THE best burger in the New Orleans and surrounding areas. I drive all the way from the Marigny just to get my fix of that double patties and tots! Service is easy, quick, and friendly. I also love the homely vibe of the place. Will be back soon!

20 bucks gets you a good sized burger and a generous helping of fries. The burger was delicious, with caramelized onions and special sauce. The waffle cut sweet potato fries were lightly dusted with sugar. Not too much, just enough to give a little extra flavor. Casual atmosphere with homemade touches and 90s hits on the sound system. I’ll definitely come again.

Went to Smash Dat Burger today and it was really excellent! Smash burgers aren’t really my style, but this one makes me a believer. I had the Smash Dat Burger and the fries, both were a very generous serving and excellent.

Ill tell you, their burguers are pretty amazing. They dont call em smash that for no reason. Service was good! Atmosphere is ok. They re just starting so i cant wait to see how they ll be fixing this place up. They dont have a sign up so if you drive by you ll miss it. I tried so far their Smash burguer, Jam burguer, Shroom burguer Amazing! I deff recomend trying it out. Ill be coming in more often as am in the area to try more of their menu.

Menu was straightforward and interesting. Staff was charming and helpful. I ordered 3 singles and a double smash burger with an order of tots and fries. The sides are large enough for two to share. Total with 20% tip was $65. I drove home to New Orleans, about 20 min, before we ate. Everything was great. The burgers had really beautiful melt in your mouth moments. The the only way I would order differently in the future is no fresh veg or fresh veg on the side. I think the commute time killed it. That’s my fault. Fed mom, husband and kid and everyone was happy.

This will be a regular stop for me. Had the Jam’n Burger and Sweet Potato Waffle Fries. I highly recommend both. I got my order to go but next time I’m gonna chill in there and eat because the vibe was right for sure. Great job Smash Dat and wish you big time success!
