We went on the hunt for the best smash burger in Chiang Mai after seeing this place on TikTok, and overall it was very good. The quality of the ingredients was great, and the burger was tasty.
That said, for the price, the portion of meat could have been a bit more generous. It felt slightly expensive for the size. The burger also could have used a bit more salt, which would have really improved the flavor. The fries were okay but could be better.
On the plus side, there were plenty of tables available, so noc waiting or queues, which was nice.
Overall, I’d give the burger around an 8.5 out of 10. Definitely recommended if you’re craving a good burger or some Western food while in Chiang Mai.

31/1/2569 – Ordered via Grab delivery after reading the reviews and craving a good chicken burger in Chiang Mai. I have to say, they did not disappoint. Ordered an Oreo Cookie Milkshake and the Buffy Blue Cheese Chicken Burger. This is by far the best chicken sandwich I’d had up to that point in Thailand. I was expecting it to be more spicy, but it was just right. The packaging was perfectly tamper-resistant. The Oreo shake was delicious, the perfect portion sizes. Love how they stamp the name on the bun, cute! Both were very flavor-filled! A bit pricey, but it’s American food, what else would you expect? I highly recommend.

Had lunch at Smash Daddy’s today and we really enjoyed most of the dishes. The mega giant onion ring was a star crispy, golden, and just fun to eat.
We ordered a good spread:
• Sweet Baby JJ
• My Boy Blue
• Papa’s Mash
• Out-In-In
• Fully Loaded Fries
Overall, the flavours were great and the beef was juicy and satisfying.
But just to be fair and honest:
• The fries were a bit dry, so they didn’t hit as hard as the burgers.
• The burgers had a little too much sauce n we felt like the sauce was competing for attention instead of complementing the patty.
Still, it was an enjoyable meal, and Smash Daddy’s definitely knows how to deliver bold flavours. With a little tweak on the fries and sauce, it would be perfect.

The burgers are just ok, nothing special. They lack flavours (no different souces available, only ketchup), very small spongy buns like a tissue (no consistency) but it looks big from outside and on pictures. The fries are thin & small, we ordered large size paying extra but not sure the way offered is fair, & expensive. There only was one cashier, afew people standing before us, but we were annoyed by how slow it was, the cashier seem unbothered taking orders slow, creating confusion; except the waiters were trying to manage the floor, & were nice to be helpful…We left more hungry then when we entered. We won’t come back; for the price we paid, we can enjoy an amazing Thai food!

I personally tried Smash Daddy’s Burgers CNX in Chiang Mai and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The smash burger was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right, with great balance of flavor in every bite. You have the option to choose between fries or onion rings, and I went with the onion rings, they were crispy, well-seasoned, and a great match for the burger. I also loved the retro American diner vibe, which made the experience even better. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the great energy of the place. It’s also very conveniently located, just a short walk from One Nimman and Maya Lifestyle Mall, so if you’re staying in Nimman, it’s super easy to navigate and find. For anyone craving a proper smash burger in CNX, this is a spot I’d genuinely recommend and would happily return to.

Smash Daddy’s serves insanely scrumptious burgers that live up to the hype. Vegetarians get their own proper option, and it doesn’t disappoint. Portions are immense, which goes some way toward compensating for the higher prices. Do note that the already steep list prices are subject to an additional 7% sales tax.

Every now and then I‘m craving for a smash burger. It was time for it. So I walked over to this place seeing all the great reviews. I was not the only one. Lot‘s of expats and tourists were going in and out while I ate here. Food is ok. Not the best I ever had. But fine. Service can be improved. Things were coming randomly and not together. By the time the French fries arrived I was already done waiting the burger. And I ordered the chicken fingers as a starter. They came at the end.

Love that I can find a 50’s American diner in the heart of Downtown Chiangmai! Their smash burger was delicious! Bonus: the fries and shake were excellent too. This spot is 2 stories with decor straight from a 1950s diner. If you’re in the mood for an all American cheeseburger, this is an excellent spot. You won’t be disappointed.

The classic smash daddy burger was probably the best burger I’ve ever had I definitely recommend, however, I wasn’t a fan of the hot chick, the fried chicken burger texture felt raw even though the flavor and bun was great. It wasn’t terrible but it was off. What I’d suggest doing is giving out samples of the burgers and testing the market reaction before making them a permanent menu item. But definitely get the smash daddy classic that was boss. It is very pricy for Thailand, however, but worth trying since it was ranked #1 and the many positive ads, but I wouldn’t come here every day because of the cost. Note: This is a place that targets foreigners, the average Thai makes around 500 bhat a day, so it wouldn’t be affordable for them.
