Good place to meet friends or hang out with the regulars. Needs to be updated but they did put in all new flooring last year. Overly loud music makes it hard to communicate or have a decent conversation but overall it’s a decent place to hang out with only a limited selection of “downtown” bars.

Smarties is a fun, friendly place. The bar itself is rectangular so there is plenty of places to sit. Pups are allowed in on a leash if nice! They have $1. Beer on tap. Excellent music system! Tv’s to be watched from all anywhere you sit & yes there is keno! Bathrooms are clean! & the bartenders that work at smarties are great! Quick, polite, friendly, funny, you actually don’t have to wait for a drink in Smarties! During the day is on the quiet side & evenings & weekends it picks up & can be boisterous (loud & fun). They also sell pizza’s (frozen) there is no kitchen.
