A hidden gem in Chouteau! We moved here from Dallas and have struggled the last year to find great food comparable to Texas, We finally found it! We came in an hour before closing with our 2 toddlers, my husband and his sister. The portions are amazing and everything had so much flavor. The restaurant itself is SO clean and there’s a little arcade room off the eating area but the hidden gem of the show is the dessert! Freshly made fried pies! They have 3 flavors but you can do half and half of each flavor. I did apple & peach The peach reminded me of An elevated peach cobbler that was perfectly sweet w/ a scoop of ice cream. I had the big catfish dinner and this tasted like the catfish my grandma makes, It was perfectly crisp & everything was hot but not greasy. My Husband had a bacon burger and every bite he was making the happiest noises Our appetizer was the sampler on a board! So creative & cute! My husbands a bigger guy and the single patty was PERFECT! The owner, her grandson & the cook (her husband) sweetest people, so nice to talk to & as Texans I can confirm, They have the flavor of Dallas with some small town comfort. So the food was good. The burger was 5* quality for sure. It was good size, tasted awesome and toppings were great. Their fries left a ton to be desired. Tried straight and curly. Zero seasoning and very undercooked but still a good place to try. Oh their cupcakes were kid approved and excellent.

New restaurant in town. So things are a bit Hectic and always busy. Did take a while to get food out, kitchen looks very small. However when food got out it was very good! The wait staff did come by and check on us several times. I will be back to try other items on menu.

Ok, I’d had their chicken and waffles when they were at depot on the green, we ate at their new place on York today and I was so disappointed. Chicken was too crispy all the way around, waffles were thinner and too crisp on the sides too. One of the ladies made me a new piece, it was also crispy on the sides. I just like a tender piece of chicken that you can cut with a knife, friend had a BLT sandwich and said it was good. Guess I’ll have to try chicken and dumplings or something. Just wanted something I can’t make at home

The portions are so big! Best burgers around, and the 7 year old says it’s the best food he’s ever had. (Lol) We will definitely be back. We didn’t get a chance to have desert because we were so full, but they looked phenomenal!

The food was very tasty. And the personnel were very friendly and eager to please. They even went out of their way to specially make our fried pie. Half of it peach, and half of it chocolate!! I highly reccomend this place!!
