Maybe we just went here on a less than nice time because it is Sunday of mardigras but the food was just ok compared to the price. It was nice but it was very expensive and I’ve been to places that had this same price point and were nicer.

The ramen I thought was supposed to come with an egg but both ramens did not come with an egg. The add on toppings were in small proportions. We ordered chili oil and it wasn’t spicy but it was flavorful so that was nice. The meat was very tough and chewy but the flavor was nice.

The crab Rangoon nachos were great. If we came back we would just order that and drinks.

The mood was cool. It’s a cute little spot. Conviently located near parade routes.

First time dining at Slurp Society. Charming atmosphere and exceptionally friendly staff. Thank you Megan for being patient with all of our requests. We all appreciated your professionalism and assistance. The food…amazing! We started with the Crab Rangoon Nachos. They were quickly devoured! Main entrees were the Ramen… each made to order and just as wonderful as the Nachos. Also had the PewPew Shrimp and Fiery Char-Izard Bao with a side of Miso Hungry Fried Rice. All were packed with amazing flavors to savor. We WILL be repeat customers. Highly recommend!!!

This place was awesome! Jonah was our server, and she was the best. We ended up ordering 2 of the appetizers she suggested, and they did not disappoint. We are already making plans for another date night at Slurp.

The service was great, very attentive and the atmosphere was chill and relaxing. But the ramen itself was not my favorite. The broth was not what I expected, it was too sour with various pickled items in the bowls. The presentation was great, the portions too but like i said it really wasn’t’ my thing.

Service was pretty bad. Ate at restaurant November 30, 2025. Ramen is normally served pretty quickly. But we waited almost an hour after we ordered for food to arrive. Not sure if they were short staffed in kitchen, but they forgot to put in the protein in our luke warm soup and when asked, how long would it take to get the protein? They said, i’m not sure so the service was pretty bad.I will not be going back. And the food was mediocre. They also were out of a couple things on the menu, so I don’t know. If we just went on a bad day but not good

The ramen here was good. I would suggest for those who want a more authentic ramen flavor, get the ramen without the pickled onions. The pickled onions change the flavor of the broth a ton! My wife got it without the onions, and her broth tasted much more rich.

A very unique and neat place to eat at. Iv been to Japan and have had the pleasure of eating real Japanese food. The ramen here is authentic and very delicious. Although I will say, it was a challenge trying to go. At the time they had odd operating hours and I think they moved locations. But i think that is resolved now.

Sad to say the only good thing about this was place is the atmosphere. Had gone to their old location before and the new one is just not it. Food and drinks took about an hour after placing our order. Food came incomplete, no egg, no kimchi. We did go during Mardi Gras, but if you run out food let customers know. There’s options to remedy for the lack of items. They simply just didn’t do that. Just disappointed. Would definitely not be going back.

Had a delicious lunch at slurp society this weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The flavors were delicious and the staff was super friendly. They were busy so service was a little slowed, but it was certainly worth the wait. I plan to comeback to this great little spot.

Gumbo dumplings 50/10, Laughing lemonade 10/10, Golden lotus 20/10, Takeout egg rolls 10/10, Battleship curry 20/10. I brought my mom here and we had a great time and loved the gumbo dumplings so much we got 4 orders to go. I don’t know what people are talking about when it comes to the noodles but I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT and so did mom.
