The place was busy but service was quick. The food we ordered came impossibly fast. The soup dumplings were good but they were not your stereotypical soup dumplings — they were huge and flavorful but not soupy, more like baozi. The mala pig ears and the pickled cucumbers were, in contrast, not flavorful at all…as if they haven’t been marinaded long enough. The crispy pork intestines also had no flavor. We enjoyed the noodles dishes and the portions were good as were the prices.

A pretty good noodle house in Chicago Chinatown. The cream cheese wontons were killer. I also got a black bean noodle sauce and it was pretty good but all in all I’ve had better noodles. They were definitely homemade though, and on a cold day it’s an excellent spot. It also wasn’t busy and there were lots of tables so it was easy for us to get served fast. All in all a good spot to try if you’re having a craving for noodles and are in the area.

Came here for some beef noodle soup. Ordered the Brisket and Spare Ribs soups, both were good but I was expecting it to be a bit more savory. Also got the Pork & Cabbage Chicken Dumpling which was also good. Dining room and bathroom were clean, server was attentive.

Unassuming clean facility. Food was remarkably good. Hand pulled noodles as they should be and slightly chewy. Had the pig ears which was done quite nicely and the noodles with tendon and the house special with beef, brisket and tripe. Meat was very tender and generous portions. Noodle portion was adequate but if you’re really hungry you may want to add additional noodles. Broth was clear and very tasteful. Will definitely be back.

The noodles were fantastic! We went on a Sunday right when they opened. I ordered chow hand pulled noodles with pork belly…Wow it was so delicious. It just had such great flavor that we didn’t add anything extra…I have always been a fan of thicker noodles so the consistency was perfect. Just the right amount of chew to it perfectly pulled. Porky was nice and tender packed with rich flavor. There was chili oil and I think it was pickled mustard greens on the table. 100% recommend!

Our experience was adequate overall. We seated ourselves and were able to place our orders promptly. One concern was the water, which did not taste as it should. The food itself was quite good. I ordered shaved noodles and a mixed meat bowl, while my fiancée chose the chicken rice, which in my opinion was the stronger dish.

Service was minimal, with assistance provided only at the beginning and at the conclusion of the meal. While it was efficient enough, it did not rise to the level of service that typically warrants a gratuity. Although we appreciate the meal, we are more inclined to explore other dining options and do not anticipate returning to this establishment.

Amazing food. I ordered the cucumber salad, pork dumplings, and beef noodle soup with extra noodles. Food came out hot and fresh. Perfect for a cold day.

Family of four. Grown Kids. Lots of pictures on the menu, had a lot of traditional chinese. Everything was very fresh. We had two orders of pork egg rolls, one order of crab rangoon, beef brisket soup with an egg, combo dinner, 2 shrimp noodles, cucumber salad and 3 soda’s. The bill included a 18% service fee. So we did not tip. It was $109. Came during the Summer festival, Sunday at 11 and got right in. Friendly service.

Good portions for really reasonable prices! I got the stirfry noodles with the handmade noodles and the portion was great. The food was good as well but not too much else on the plate other than noodles. We also got the pork and pickled cabbage dumplings but those weren’t my favorite. The service was quick though and it’s got plenty of seating. Good experience overall!

Slurp Slurp is a decent spot for comforting hand-pulled noodles. The noodles had a nice chew, though they tasted slightly overcooked from my visit and could have benefited from a firmer texture. The broth was decently flavored but leaned a bit watery, and the meat could have been cut into larger pieces for a heartier bite. I have no notes about their dumplings though – they were tasty with thick skins and hearty fillings. With all that said, the meal was still generally satisfying, and this is a solid choice for a simple bowl of noodles in the heart of Chinatown.
