Went to Sluggers with my wife and in-laws for my wife’s birthday. When we walked in we were glared at by the other patrons. We walked up to the bar to grab menus and were told by a bartender they would be with us shortly. We waited almost an hour but nobody came. Bartenders were busy talking to their local friends. We had one of our group take our orders and walk up to the bar to get the food. Waited another 45 minutes only to have my wife’s sandwich be burnt. Luckily there was trivia to have something to do. Even walking up to get a refill on drinks took 15 minutes and required you to stand right in front of the bartender. Overall would just stay in Waupaca next time. Don’t go there if not a local or if you are impatient.

A friend and I were bowling at Super Bowl but we were also getting drinks from Sluggers, we bought 4 rounds. We had asked if their kitchen was open, we wanted to split a pizza, and the bartender told us the kitchen was closed because they didn’t take out any food the night before and everything was frozen. We said okay and went back to bowling. Later did we recognize the people in the lane next to us ordered chicken tenders and fries. They were told the same thing by the bartender but went to the front desk at super bowl and they said the kitchen was open.

Nice bar but they have 1 bartender that just runs the experience. He has a terrible attitude. Acts like we’re bothering him when we ask for a drink. Then completely ignores us and refuses to serve us. Myself and a group of coworkers stopped going to Sluggers for happy hour because of Darren. Would be a 4 star rating if it weren’t for him.

We come to Super Bowl frequently to bowl since we live close by. And, on 3/24 there was a band playing, completely fine no problems there. However, it was so busy that the older gentleman bartender was very overwhelmed. We had been waiting for about 10 minutes and only wanted two bottled beers. A woman walked in with an empty glass and was waiting her turn. The bartender proceeded to tell us it was going to be about 10 more minutes to help us, at this point not even knowing what we needed to order. And, he proceeded to make a new drink for the woman who just walked in. Another gentleman guest asked if he could be helped and the bartender snapped “I’m only one person, and I’m about to lose my f***ing mind!”. We finally got our drinks and made our way to our lane. Additionally both bowling bathrooms were closed/locked and we had to use the bar’s bathroom which was almost impossible to get to since it was so busy. Not at all an enjoyable experience.

Came in on 4/26/18. Parking lot was completely barren. Come inside to about 6 other patrons in the bar. I waited 10 minutes for my first drinks and every refill was like pulling teeth with the bartender(we drink bottled beer). What was his deal? Forgetting drinks….
I asked him to change the channel to the bucks game, to which he said he absolutely could not do that. “There were too many people watching the other game.” This was my last straw. There were more tvs than people… clearly your employee wanted to hold his remote “power” above us. Really weird.
We knew the all the other patrons in the bar. They were ok watching whatever. And I cannot reiterated the TV to person ratio enough.
We were happy to leave and go to the next bar. We were polite and there is no excuse for treating customers like that.

Horrible service!! There was more than enough bar staff but it seemed no one had worked behind a bar before. We went to see a band we enjoy and sadly won’t be coming back to Sluggers even if the band goes back there.
