We found this place in a travelers guide for Corinth MS. We read about a sandwich called the Slugburger which from the description sounded like something we had for lunch at school back in the day. There were several restaurants listed in the guide but this one was named for the burger so we picked it. It is a quaint little diner with 2 tables and the main bar seating. The food is great and the people are exceptionally friendly. They deep fried the Slugburger and it tasted just like I remembered. If you find yourself on Highway 72 to or from Memphis stop by and say hi and while you’re at it try a Slugburger or anything else on the menu.

Heard about this place for years living in MS. Finally went to Corinth today and ordered 4 double patty slugs…well the locals like them that’s the only positive I can say. Me and the wife hated them! Pork patties? It was more like eating unflavored cardboard. We literally looked at each other and tried to reverse engineer what it is we were eating. Maybe pork, maybe a little chicken, definitely FLOUR to thicken a lot. Pass and pass HARD on this place. There’s a lot of old local burger places in MS. This isn’t one I’d EVER go to again.
