The regular Latte is very good, so much flavor and strong but smooth. The Vietnamese coffee is good but not exact Vietnamese coffee in terms of flavor and taste even though used Trung Nguyen (not a good brand in my opinion and not a critic or insult to Nick), abit sweet for my taste but very strong though. Nick is super nice and friendly while juggling between the window orders and walk-up orders . Definitely highly recommend for the best coffee in anywhere.

Stumbled upon Slow Rush as we were leaving Paso and so glad we did! The coffee was delish (1 oatmilk iced mocha and 1 Mexican latte). They were so good. The owner Nick was a huge bonus! Just a delightful and lovely man. Can’t wait for my next trip to Paso to have another tasty coffee. Thanks Nick!

Stopped here during a road trip and met the friendliest barista with amazing drink recommendations. We got an Oreo Mocha and the Lavender Miel and they were just fantastic!

Decided I needed a coffee for the drive to the coast and threw a dart at the map and ended up extremely happy, the atmosphere is super chill grab and go or sit and vibe. I asked the owner for something mocha and espresso wow he made a tasty treat that was exactly what I needed.

This place was a little shack but it offered great coffee! Our only complaint was there was only one guy manning it inside and he was clearly overwhelmed and overworked. He kept apologizing over and over and we felt bad for him. The wait was about 15 min but the coffee was great.

Great coffee spot! Nick makes the best creative and delicious drinks. He’ll personalize any order and preference. I ordered an iced peppermint mocha and it was GREAT! My husband ordered the lavender chai. Would get both again for sure and make this a go to stop. There’s a nice little seating spot to sit and enjoy. Recommend pairing with some fresh donuts right across the way.

The lavender miel latte was AMAZING. As a bit of a coffee snob this is the perfect cozy latte and isn’t too sweet. The owner was also SO nice and friendly. He was the fastest barista I’ve ever had and he was really passionate about his craft. No additional charge for non dairy milk is also a plus too! The lemon blueberry scone was to die for! Cant say enough good things about this little spot!

I stopped here on my way through Passo from LA. I was between the banana latte and pb&j latte and decided to grab the banana latte. It was so good I came back half an hour later to also try the pb&j one. The espresso shot was perfectly extracted for both drinks. The drinks were hot, but drinkable. The flavorings in both lattes were well balanced, unique, and super tasty. This past weekend I waited half an hour for a coffee at Community Goods that wasn’t nearly as good as what I had today at Slow Rush. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Every time I’m in the area I’ll be trying to stop here. Yall have something really special here.

Really impressed with the coffee here. Ordered a Capp which was larger than I was expecting. More like a latte. But coffee to milk ratio was still reasonable. He didn’t charge extra for oat milk either. Owner was super kind and made a hot chocolate for my son, even made sure it wasn’t too hot for him. Prices were so incredibly reasonable too!
