This place has been around for as long as I can remember. It’s one of the places I used to go for a late night munchies, especially the burger. I came here again for Portland Burger Week. Their special burger was very tasty, and you can tell that the meat quality is superb. They also have a great selection of drinks.

I loved this little spot. I was waiting for a band to come on at the Bossanova venue and wanted to have a snack at walking distance. Searched around and found this bar, and I was not disappointed. Loved the vibe, loved the music, loved the atmosphere, and most importantly of all, I loved my drink. Perfect whiskey sour, whether the lemons were squeezed that day or organic, it was refreshing and sweet. I got fries as a snack, which were a pleasure to enjoy. Good fries, I wish I had taken a picture.

Cool place, fantastic service, unfortunately I specifically picked this place based on the burger reviews (best burger ever) and while it was a respectable basic burger, fresh ingredients, nice brioche bun, it was nothing special. The Philly cheese steak was average nothing special, having lived in south Philadelphia ,the most important thing lacking was caramelized onions and peppers, they were under cooked. I’m not a hater and this place has many positive qualities, I would certainly give it another chance….

This is one of our go-to places. We love it. And the 80’s / 90’s punk flyers in the men’s bathroom are amazing. The only downfall of this place is that since the pandemic, they’ve been closing at midnight. I really hope they go back to closing at regular bar time soon.

Vegetarians and dive bar enthusiasts rejoice. This place seems like an institution of historic Portland. The beers are delicious, the burgers are been better. Try the black bean burger – it’s exquisite.

Slow Bar has GREAT burgers, a cool interior design, and staff was awesome. Just be warned, when you are going in and coming out you will see lots of sketchy people all around. Be aware of your surroundings, and you’ll be okay.

Loved my Slow Burger. Nice thick, juicy patty with a couple of delicious onion rings atop. The bun was lovely, not too bready but didn’t get soggy. The French fries were those natural cut type, thin and salty. Yum yum! Also got the burger with blue cheese which was also great and they have GF buns! Gotta a couple of lemonade cocktails to complete a perfect early dinner!

Okay. This bar was awesome. The bartenders are great. The drinks are great. The fuggin Slow Burger is incredible. I dont usually care for a thick patty burger but holy moly, i am a convert now. It was delightful. Slightly long wait time but well worth the wait. 10/10 would go again.
