I was so happy to stumble across this gem. This is a lunch place with a French theme, and also features French wines, spirits, and interesting goods for purchase. They festure a lovely outdoor space where you can sit rain or shine. Much of it is covered and heated! When you order a baguette sandwich, think French. This isn’t Arby’s. This is about the fresh baguette and the high-quality ingredients as well as the relaxing, wonderful atmosphere. My new favorite place to hang out, and I don’t mind driving 40 minutes to do it.

What a wonderful rustic place! It was so eclectic and cute, we just loved it. The outdoor seating varies, some more protected with heaters, some right in front of the slough. The view of the slough with farmland is just beautiful and there were green-winged teal ducks all over, so fun to watch.
We had the meat and cheese plate with a wonderful local wine. And the staff was so so nice and friendly and very knowledgeable. We had a wonderful afternoon hanging out here.

What an extraordinarily cozy and delightful shop and restaurant! I’ve been going here for a while, but the new ownership is so personable and the interior is so much more inviting. Absolutely reminds me of a village spot at the base of the Alps in eastern France. Plus, owner has nocks to spot migrating birds out back along the Slough. After birding Bow, this is a must stop for hot soup, wine, also some treats, especially the Swedish candy!

We stopped in for the Sunday Paella Party and we had such a great time! The paella was excellent, rich and full of delicious seafood, chorizo and chicken. The people who work there were welcoming and super friendly. Good wine and bread to complement the paella. A great time was had by all!
