The wife and I constantly play the “What do you want for dinner” game when we do date nights. And that age old questions always go unanswered until we finally settle on something neither if us really want…. So, we started letting our Chase Credit card choose for us! We found Slo Odie’s by recommendations of our card and thought we would give it a chance. We absolutely loved it! Upon arriving you will find a nice size parking lot close to the entrance. Inside, there is plenty of seating either at a table, booth or the bar! No matter where you sit, im pretty sure you can see a TV, if you are into that. They didnt have any cocktails on the menu and I made a request for a rum runner. The owner came out and greeted us and welcomed us in for the first time. He made the rum runner for us, himself and to perfection I might add! It was probably the BEST rum runner we’ve ever had. They really should add that to their drink menu! I ordered the Pork Fritter Sandwich and the wife had the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and both were outstanding! Portion size was big enough that neither of us could finish at dinner and took the rest home. The staff were great and friendly. Tho I felt like the waitress didnt come around nearly as often as the other waitress was serving her tables.

-Waitress table visits
-Men’s bathroom door dont latch allowing kitchen staff to see in leaving the person in the restroom feeling very…. vulnerable.
I give Slo Odie’s a 9 out of 10. I’ve since recommended this to a few friends and we will definitely be back again!

This was our first time there and we all liked it. Our party had the Ruben sandwich, hamburger and onion rings, and the Buffalo chicken sandwich and fries. The portions were big and the food was good. They were busy, but the service was great (even though they had just 1 waitress that Saturday afternoon).

Ridiculously rude server. I sat at the bar and waited quite a while before I was acknowledged. Final the bartender looked at me and said, “Uh can I help you?” like she was surprised to find someone sitting at the bar. I asked for a whiskey coke short and a food menu, which I had to wait several more minutes for. She poured the glass in a tall glass, and I reminded her that I had asked for a short glass. She rolled her eyes and poured my drink in a wine glass and tried to hand it me. I again specified I was asking for a SHORT. Any bartender on day one of the job would have known what I was talking about: Ordering an alcoholic drink “short” means you want the standard amount of liquor served in a small glass (like a rocks glass) with minimal mixer. Somehow this concept was completely beyond her. I walked out at this point to another eye roll from her and will never come back.

Been here a few times and always sit at the bar. Excellent service, great beer, and really good food. I also like the “regulars”. They are fun to talk to. Always a good time. Food-wise, I HIGHLY recommend the soup & salad with grilled cheese. YUM. Also the lemon pepper chicken is fantastic!

The food was decent. The service was terrible. Also took forever to get our food. The mac n cheese bites were missing the macaroni. Really just cheese and jalapeños bites. It was 3 in the afternoon when we went. So they weren’t busy at all.

Great food and friendly staff. Yuengling on draft! We had the pretzel (huuuge and delish), half pound boneless wings with bourbon sriracha sauce (great flavor, not super spicy) and the fish sandwich. Holy cow – the fish sandwich was huge. When it came out, three other people commented on how big it was and how tasty it looked. Highly recommend!
