Love the tacos! Love the music selection! and the owner is awesome! My fiancé and I discovered this spot a month ago and just made our second visit last week. The owner remembered us and we had a nice conversation. Looking forward to bringing some of my friends and family here. It’s the simplicity for me ! I get tired of fine dining sometimes so date nights here are perfect.

Ooh..Emmm..Geeee! Yes, that’s how you’ll feel after you eat here! The atmosphere can either be “Awwww babe you thought of everything!”. Or.. “Hey look dad, they have surf board stickers everywhere!”.
The food is fantastic. Make sure if you like limes/ lemons on your seafood, make sure you remember to ask for them. Also if you have food allergies, make sure you tell them that a well. I can’t have scallops. I love my seafood, but I wouldn’t like putting that on my headstone!
They have the neatest sodas as well. We tried the lemon lime soda. It was really neat. Didn’t taste like Sprite, or anything else had ever tasted.
For my meat eating men, they had the fries with the cheese and ok.. that is all I’ll say because that’s all they said while they devoured it.
My daughter, age seven loved the cheesy, ooey, gooey, tortillas.
I think I’ve covered everything. Ok I’m done because I’m getting hungry! Go see for yourself. Great food, they’re a great family, great location! Oh, I forgot of it’s a chilly night, they light the oversized lanterns for you. See… DATE NIGHT!

Owner was great to chat with, legit California guy who chatted it up w my wife who went to school in SLO. And the tacos and carne asada fries were rad! 2 thumbs way up.

It’s my last night in town for a while and I chose to try out SLO Coast for the first time. Absolutely amazing decision. I tried the burrito option with steak and it was one of the best I’ve ever eaten! The meat was perfectly seasoned and flavorful. The french fries aren’t just a kitschy nod to being in Pittsburgh, they work perfectly with the rest of the burrito. I will definitely come back next time I’m in town– this time to dine in and enjoy the sick atmosphere! I never write reviews, but I had to for this meal. Thank you for the delicious food!

I was so excited to see a taco shop come to Millvale. The owner was super friendly, so I hate having to say that the food had almost no taste. My tacos had very little seasoning and a smattering of cilantro and onions. My burrito was mostly cheese with steak thrown in. Again, with almost no flavor/real seasoning or sauce. This isn’t authentic Mexican (which isn’t what I expected anyway), but it’s also not really CaliMex (I say as a Californian). Hopefully I just visited on an off day and they’ll improve over time.
