We decided to get lunch here while visiting Frankenmuth. It is very close to the river place shops. We wanted to try as much as we could so my husband and I got the three meat combo and our daughter got the pulled pork. Cornbread comes with every meal also. The cornbread was pretty good. The chicken was tender, the brisket was good, and the burnt ends were amazing. The pulled pork was also good. We really liked the fries! They were seasoned well with salt and pepper and very tasty! The macaroni and cheese was also really really good. And the service was awesome. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our waiter was spot on with his recommendations. We would definitely stop here again if we were in the area.

After searching for a place for dinner on our second night in Frankenmuth, we finally opted to ask a local where the best dinner would be. They told us this was the place. We checked out the menu and decided to give it a shot. We were a little nervous as dinner the previous evening was pretty disappointing. I can say, I have no idea why this location doesn’t have 5 stars. Their food is amazing. The combos, the homemade BBQ sauce, salsa, and blue cheese dressing were unique and very good. Service was perfect. Our server didn’t forget us or make us wait even a moment. Everything was absolutely great and if we are in the area again, we will be back!! Do not hesitate to give them a chance, don’t even bother with the reviews… those people cannot be made happy! Highly recommend!

Giant portions, good pricing, but minimal flavor. I had to keep going back to my drink to make sure my sense of taste hadn’t left. Meat was “fall of the bone” tender, so I understand the “award winning” tagline. Excellent cocktail selection made sitting out on the porch a treat.

Some of the worst BBQ we’ve ever had. The rib meat was full of fat and disgusting. The slaw was tasteless. The beans tasted bitter. The ghost pepper sauce was not hot at all. Service was subpar and the waitress seemed like she didn’t want to be there. We had to ask to have refills – the #1 carnal sin of waiting tables. We will never be back. 2 stars only because the kids liked their mac and cheese and the cornbread was actually good.
