Went here for Valantines day. They had some very nice specials, ut we opted for the regular menu.

VENUE: Bar/Restaruant, open, lots of space, conversational level music. Live guitarist Robert Johnson at 8. He interacted with crowd and was very friendly and played very well. I was very impressed.
FOOD: I bought the Ribs, dry rub, but very meaty and great smokehouse taste. There are several variations of sauce, smokey, spicey..,super hot.
I also.had th3 Onion rings, done just right and tasty, smooth breading.
Kali had the Pennie Pasta with a sauce that was very tasty.. We were skeptical at first but the bbq/alfredo sauce was fabulous!
I also had Garlic mashed, excellent taste, not too garlicky..
Kali had Sweet potatoes fries, parmesianish with lots of flavor
Waitress name was Shariden (sp) and was excellent.

Price: $110, but that was with a BIG Tip and 3 drinks too.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND, WELL BE BACK FOR SURE!!

We are from out of town on vacation. Evan, the bartender/waiter, was wonderful. His happy personality made our nite even better. His suggestions were spot on. We enjoyed every moment and the food was phenomenal. We got the nachos with pulled pork. The only suggestion would be please don’t put paper underneath cheese that melts onto it. Maybe parchment paper would work best. We have to peel some paper off from our nachos to be able to eat them. With that said you must order them. They are delicious they have green pepper and black olives pulled pork chunks of tomato onion my mouth is watering just talking about it.
We will recommend this place to our friends for sure.

I have known about this place for many years, and finally decided to try it out. Within seconds of entering, I knew it was going to be lackluster at best. Now, in the interest of transparency, my wife and I were there at probably the slowest part of the day. However, that should not be an excuse for poor or limited service. Upon entering, there were only 2 tables with patrons, and absolutely no employees even visible. As we sat and took in the environment, we watched as the other patrons finished up and left. The staff was still more or less non existent the entire time. When we did get our order in the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The food seemed to be hastily thrown together and was not very inviting. I had a chicken sandwich that entirely fell apart as soon as I picked it up. Now, the reason I had this sandwich is because I was told immediately that burnt ends and brisket were not even available, which is in and of itself a huge turn off for a restaurant that revolves around “barbecue”. While I truly believe the time of day did a disservice to the experience, this is where the establishment had a chance to shine and fell completely shortt. While somewhat disappointed with the overall experience, I would still return and try the restaurant again.

Also, plan on paying a premium price as the pricing is definitely on the higher side.

Honestly the only place we ate in Frankenmuth where we did not have buyer’s remorse. The food was pretty great!! Pulled pork was good, smoked chicken, and turkey were also good! Mashed potatoes and gravy were amazing!!! Mac & cheese was good! Super disappointing to see the kid’s meals served with box Mac & cheese instead of the premium Mac & cheese. The fries were AMAZING!!! The prices are a bit high for the quality, but it was a good meal!

Ashley was a fantastic waitress. Great bbq place in Frankenmuth, better than Zenders. Right next to the water park hotel. Large menu. Sauerkraut is delicious.

Had the two meat lunch. Pulled Pork and sausage. Pulled pork had a orange tint, maybe seasoning? It was just ok. Sausage was good. BBQ sauce was good. Cornbread was ok. Hot mustard was good.

Held our 35th class reunion there. Food was excellent! Annie made planning so easy and was very helpful with food choices. Our server Olivia was amazing and kept our glasses full all night. The room was perfect for the 30 people we had

Horrible host. Does not know how to do her job. Allowed multiple people to go ahead of us to sit and order even a group of 11 at bar but told us they were short on cooks so we could not be seated. That table in the picture has been open the whole time we have been sitting here. Approx 30 minutes now. Update: food was good and our server was good. They still had people waiting long times and only half the tables were full. Bathrooms were very dirty with trash overflowing cans and it is only 4 pm.

It has been about 5 years since we have been there. Took our family, who lives out of state, hoping for a good experience. Food was good. Service was good. Portions were a joke! The wife and I ordered the double combo each. 2 (small) pieces of brisket, and 1 smoked sausage that looked like a hotdog. Tasted good, but if it weren’t for the mac n cheese, potato salad, and a hard piece of cornbread, we would have left starving. $35 for each meal. My son looked at it, and thought that it may have been a mistake. He even questioned it to our waitress, and she said it was a normal portion for that plate. (Not at all her fault!) Thankfully my son and his family seemed satisfied with their meals. We kinda wondered why it wasn’t really busy for a Saturday night, and now we know. I remember in the past, finding a parking spot, let alone trying to get in, was difficult. Not these days. I’ve heard friends and co-workers complain about the very same thing, thinking maybe they just hit it up on an off night. I should have listened. Total bill was $143. Considerably more with the tip. 4 adults and 1 child. Regardless, not will it be another 5 years before we go back, we will never return again. It’s a shame because the food was actually good, considering my wife’s brisket was half fat. Save your money and find another barbecue joint that will give you the portions that are equivalent to their prices.
