Really fun place right at the marina on JBAB. Great wings and the other food is good, too. The staff is nice, but they don’t have a lot of staff, so it’s up to you to go get what you want.
They also have really cool special events! Motown Night is coming up!

Fried chicken was nothing to look forward to at least for me. Definitely not worth $10 but nice place to sit for lunch on the water. Would not try again though.

Great place to sit and unwind while waiting for the traffic to ease up. But this little place is exclusive (you have to be able to get onto a military installation as it is tucked nicely away at the edge of Bolling AFB, right at the southern end of the riverwalk path. If you go – order the wings; they are the bomb!! Inside and outside seating has been newly renovated.

Chill, laid back, on the river hang out at Joint Base Anacostia Boling. Nice place to get together after work for drinks and a bite to eat. Service is a little slow, cooked to order, nothing fancy but if in a hurry, you can call ahead. These pics are of the views from there at a class social get-together.

It’s fine. Easy to to get to from work and beats having to go to National Harbor for a work lunch. A/C is lacking and food is mid.

Its hard to know when they are open and when they aren’t. The prices aren’t bad however, you would think that the portion sizes might be a little bigger filling. The brisket sandwich, again hit or miss if they even have it, is good. I just wish the communication would be better because the servers and cooks are nice.

Flies flying around in the kitchen and the chicken is nasty. The bones were all grey and gross. Would not eat here again.

Regrettably, the dining experience fell short of expectations. The fried chicken lacked seasoning, leaving it devoid of flavor, and the absence of even a pinch of salt was noticeable. While the fries were passable, the hushpuppies failed to impress. Additionally, our order was mishandled, prompting us to bring it to the attention of the staff, who appeared overwhelmed but promptly rectified the error by providing the missing items.

Disappointingly, the menu offerings were severely limited on the “reopening” day, with pulled pork notably absent. With only French fries, hushpuppies, fried chicken, and buffalo wings available, the options were sparse. Moreover, the pricing, hovering around $13 for any combo meal, seemed disproportionate to the quality and variety offered. Considering these shortcomings, diners may find better value and satisfaction elsewhere.

A lovely eatery located at the Bolling military base. There, you can eat inside or at the tables built on the pier overlooking the dock.
I had the Buffalo wings, which were good. We also had fish and potato tots and coleslaw. That also came with Hushpuppies.
It’s quite busy around lunchtime. Many of the soldiers venture as they take their lunch hour.
