The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful bartender.Waitress was great.Food was wonderful.Would highly recommend and we’ll be back, just hope they get some heaters in the back.Sitting area be warned, it is cold.But pretty chill and not too expensive food

Boo was told about this place by a coworker. We got to Forest City a lot more than Spartanburg. We love the small-town feel and Chesnee is not hitting on much. We have a very select number of restaurants. I am a true burger and homemade fries kinda girl. This is my favorite meal and I love new places. So we found it on a side street in downtown Forest City. Never seen the place who knew. We got parking in the front of the Slims. Went in and got seated immediately. They have a top floor. Then a set of stairs that go down and a bottom floor. The waitress was very nice. I loved the vibe of the place it just felt homey. They said the bar they did serve beer. It was more family-oriented than individuals. The food was delicious. I got a cheeseburger with Chili. mayo lettuce. Fries with homemade honey mustard . Boo got a cheeseburger all the way with onion rings. B got the burger with the top and bottom being grilled cheese sandwiches. He loves the show where the man eats the big meals. I think it’s like man against food or something. He thought he could eat it all plus onion rings. Boy was he wrong he had to bring half the burger home. The meat was fresh the fries were crispy. I don’t eat onions. They both said the onion rings were delicious. The only thing I wished for is I like the larger fries and not the shoestring fries. Most of the time you get a lot of end pieces. I understand why a restaurant would do this. They got further and they cook faster. I am simply giving my honest opinion as always. We will be back.

food was great. Atmosphere was amazing and the service was great but I have one suggestion. Coming from someone who has lived near Philly and has plenty of cheese steaks. The Philly cheese steak you have needs a better hoagie roll, need to add cheese and peppers. instead of the onions small in the steak which was juicy and well made otherwise the onions plus green peppers need to be sliced and grilled. Otherwise an awesome place to eat.

Not of the healthiest but every time I go I have to have the Not So Slim burger!!! Its addictive!! It is a burger inside of 2 grilled cheese sandwiches! I also love their fresh made fries with their malt vinegar. Our littlest lady loves their hotdogs and this time my honey got the Philly which was pretty good. Definitely recommend!!
