Reviews
When I asked about flavors, she kept pointing to a poster, but I kept telling her I can’t see well.
The chicken wings look good, but they’re mostly just skin, hardly any meat.
My wife’s chicken tenders looked good. It’s just not worth the price to me. We have so many better options in town
They also have a rewards program that earns $4 for every $50 spent. Their jar desserts and shakes are perfect for a sweet treat.
Highly recommend!
The service here is also quick and friendly. Everyone is smiling and attentive. They even have an extra wide drive thru, because they will bring out your order as soon as it’s ready, so you may not even pull up to the window to get your food. This is an awesome addition to our neighborhood. Thank you for being here! Can’t wait to try more of the menu.
both had friendly helpful people
chicken is dry if it wasn’t for the sauce it would be unpalatable.
toast was okay but really should not be called “TEXAS” Toast.
fry’s are average at best kind of soggy. Picture of their chocolate shake is very misleading it’s small slightly larger than a frosty and about the same as but more than twice the price. that being said price for the money go sit down in a real restaurant for the same money and better food.
I placed a large order (around $110 for six people), but the sauces and a side of fries were missed. I also made a mistake and ordered a salad instead of a sandwich so when I had to drive back, I called them to let them know the order was missing things and I needed to order the sandwich. I was expecting them to offer it to me free of charge for my troubles, but no such luck.
When I got there to pick up the sandwich, fries and sauces, the bag was missing the sauces again! By the time I got home, the kids had already eaten without them, and their impression was that the chicken tasted bland. Teenagers are a big part of your customer base. They have a lot of friends and word of mouth travels fast. These 5 teens first experience left them saying they won’t go back stating “It’s too mid for $17 pp”.
The staff were sweet and professional, but for a new restaurant especially, accuracy is key to building loyal customers. I’m sharing this not to criticize, but because I’d like to see this location succeed. A little extra attention to getting orders right will go a long way in making sure people return.
Best of luck!
1. The Texas Toast is not near as good. Too thin, not enough flavor. Floppy
2. Better flavor on the chicken, Cane’s is pretty bland on the chicken, but slim has great flavor, though I do wish it were a bit crispier, and that they were a bit larger.
3. Fries are miles above Cane’s, crispy, seasoned, very good.
4. The slim sauce is not quite as good as Cane’s, but there are about 16 to choose from instead of just the 1, so a bit of a toss up there.
Overall very good, similarly priced, just needs a couple little improvements to be 5 star solid.
