For as long as we’ve had Slim Chicken’s in DFW I just haven’t been. Considering tenders are white meat, they know how to keep the chicken juicy!
The meat is so good. There are many sauce options and so far all the ones we’ve tried are delicious. The fries are very good and so is the toast. I love my Canes and the only thing I wish was that they had Canes sauce!
The banana pudding cheesecake thing was also one of the best I’ve had in a long time and come in a glass container! Be prepared to spend a little more than a few bucks on it though.
The staff both times we’ve been have been great as well. No complaints and they truly seem happy. Give them a shot and you won’t regret it!

Very disappointing experience. Went through the drive thru and was greeted by a mumble rapper who could barely muster proper english. The girl working the window might as well have thrown the food in my car with how quickly she tried to get me out of there. When I arrived home I found the meal itself to be sadly disappointing considering the price ($10.50) for 3 tenders. Fries and chicken were bland. At least the Garlic Parmesan sauce was good.

I love ordering from Slim Chickens, especially at night! They have a great deal on Uber Eats — buy 1 get 1 free — which makes it such a good value. The food always comes hot, fresh, and delicious. Service is quick, and the portions are perfect. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I’m craving something tasty and fast!

Phenomenal service. Everything is made to order it taste fresh and delicious. The chicken strips, chicken, wings, macaroni and cheese, fried pickles, mushrooms, Texas toast, and the desserts were delicious. They have individual meals as well as large family meals. This is more than enough to feed large a family. I will definitely be back to try the chicken and waffles. This location also had red velvet jar that I’d like to try on a later date.

Slim Chickens never misses! I ordered the chicken salad with the cayenne ranch and it was absolutely amazing. Every time I go, the food is hot, fresh, and full of flavor. My order is always accurate, and the service is consistently great. This location has definitely earned all five stars!

My first experience at Slim Chickens in Aubrey turned out to be quite impressive. Opting for the family meal, we received an ample serving of fried chicken tenders, a whole basket of fries, Mac and cheese on a plate, and around 5 loaves of garlic toast. Accompanying these delights was a generous gallon of raspberry sweet tea, along with an assortment of sauces (with our top picks being the BBQ and honey mustard). The flavors hit the mark; though the chicken leaned slightly towards the salty side, it paired well with the refreshing sweet tea. The fries stood out, boasting a perfect balance of crispiness outside and softness within. My personal favorite, however, was the garlic toast, which offered just the right touch of buttery garlic goodness. The sweet tea was pleasantly balanced in its sweetness. The Mac and cheese also received a thumbs-up. All of this came at a reasonable price of $35, leaving us with substantial leftovers. The staff’s friendliness shone through as they readily assisted us and frequently checked in. Without a doubt, I’ll be returning for another visit!

This is among the most disappointing establishments I’ve ever visited in North Texas. It marked my first experience with Slim Chicken, and I can confidently say it will be my last. The professionalism of the employees barely deserves a 1.5 out of 5 rating. Their communication is horrendous, as they struggle to grasp even the simplest orders. I received the wrong food, and it arrived cold. The Parmesan cheese atop the garlic Parmesan didn’t even melt, indicating how cold it was. The fries were swimming in grease, overly salted, and icy. The buffalo wings were dry, tough, and clearly stale. I requested a remake in the hopes of getting something fresh, but the second attempt was even worse. The food’s flavor barely reaches a 1.7 out of 5. It’s puzzling why they put the sauce cups inside the box. The butter on the toast is equally dreadful, tasting like pure cooking oil. The service is extremely sluggish. It took nearly half an hour to get the initial order, followed by another half-hour for the revised order, which was still incorrect. I ended up discarding all the food and opted for a salad at home instead. Without a doubt, I strongly advise against trying Slim Chickens.

Went to the Aubrey location for the first time. Had the spicy ranch chicken sandwich, fried mushrooms, and fingers with fries. Everything was hot and delicious! Outstanding customer service. Employees checked on us several times. Highly recommend this location.

I made the mistake of ordering spicy tenders and when it got delivered, it was too spicy for my daughter to eat, and the manager was able to adjust and make new tenders for us and I’m really thankful for it and bought two desserts. We will be back more often because of this kindness. Thank you so much, Slim chickens

This location has completely fallen off. My family and I came in for our usual chicken and waffles — the same order we’ve gotten for years — and the experience was terrible. The manager took our order without saying a word about any issues.
When the food finally came, we only got one syrup each. I asked for an extra syrup like we always do, and the manager suddenly claimed they were “running low” and said she’d have to charge for it. That should’ve been mentioned before we ordered so we could make a different choice. Instead, she brushed us off and walked away, showing zero respect or concern.
If this is how management handles customers now, this place is no longer worth visiting. We won’t be returning, and this location seriously needs stronger leadership and better customer service.
