Ran across this place in my worldly travels and decided to give it a whirl. You walk in the door and the counter is not far ahead. I was greeted immediately and asked about a recommendation of which I took them up on. The prices are reasonable and the food was piping hot! I ordered the chicken club sandwich and fries with a Barq’s Root beer. This sandwich was great, fresh leafy green lettuce, tomatoe and mayo with cheese, crispy chicken, this won’t disappoint. A neat atmosphere with blues music playing in the background, awesome twist on fast food. If your in the area stop by and give this place a try, 2 thumbs up!

Had to wait 40 minutes for a to-go order and the food was terrible – my husband’s three grilled tenders were mashed together in just one piece of unflavored mess. It was complete chaos inside and people were walking out and requesting refunds after waiting over an hour for their food. We got a lackluster apology and subpar food. This location has been going downhill for a while. We will not be going back anytime soon.

Well, after having several disappointing visits to the West LR location, this Slim’s was a breath of fresh air. All of the employees we had contact with were courteous and very efficient in handling our order. The young man who took my card and then brought us our food was smiling and very polite. All of our food was hot and thoroughly cooked. While wee will never visit the WLR store again, we will go back to this location.

Very disappointing the chicken, it taste like they serve me some chicken that was made three days ago and warmed up the chicken tasted awful. The french fries on the other hand was a 10 everything french fries should be seasoned well crispy fresh. Slims is one of my favorite restaurants but this visit the food was horrible.

Chicken strips were good, sweet peach tea was the best item, prices are a little on the high side. I mainly gave it three stars, because of the upkeep, the booth we sat in they had duct tape trying to hold together a huge split in the seat. The inside maintenance, and cleanliness, could be much improved.

This visit was really disappointing. I love slim chickens, but our food came out at two different times, so I had to eat before my husband, so my food wouldn’t be cold.
