I was on a road trip with my mother and we visited Slim Chickens on 4-2-23 at 10:33 am in Lebanon MO, store 1001. Who was happy that Trenton (who was our cashier and server) didn’t greet us both as (guys)! He was very attentive, he smiled and was pleasant. He even brought out our food when it was done. And then checked on us during our meal . We both enjoyed the chicken and waffles. And the strawberry shakes were handmade and they had a nice large diameter straws! The store was clean as were the bathrooms . Pics included of the inside of the store and of our food .

As a truck driver I always try to eat at places I’ve never heard of or been before. I stopped in a “slim chickens” and ordered the chicken sandwich. So far this is the best chicken sandwich I have ate and the fried pickles added to the goodness of this meal. Definitely coming back if I stop here again. The girl at the register was amazing.

Overall this place is ok, but not great. I ordered at 6pm, so they had a good dinner rush going.Nice and clean in the inside with good food and drink options. My food was not that good though. Mac and cheese was bland and barely warm. Chicken tenders were chewy, but the sweet chili sauce I had them shaken in was good. Fries were just stale and barley warm. Cole slaw was surprisingly pretty gross. There was some flavor in it that is not normal for Cole slaw at all and it really ruined it for me. The fried pickles were great and the cayenne ranch I got for them was perfect.

Their food is by far the best and only chicken in the area. Their prices are a little high but the food is worth it. The customer service is friendly and go above and beyond to fix mistakes. Service is a little slow, and be prepared to wait if you go during lunch. I have tried most things on the menu. Decent.

We came into town on our way to another location so we liked the name. We came in and the cashier was super friendly but was being trained by another employee. He kept interrupting her so we took longer ordering than usual but that’s okay. We got our food and although the chicken was hot, it was greasy. The fries were cold but we were so hungry and tired that we didn’t want to bother with saying anything. I was looking forward to eating here because of the name. We have one of these back home (we have learned) but will not be going back.

Cool place, but the food was awful. The chicken breast was torn in half, and some of it was missing. The bottom bun was hard as a crouton, and i showed the guy working there, by banging it on the table. He acted upset, and went to the kitchen, but never came back with a new bun. So, half a bun, half a chicken breast. The fries pickles were ok.
